I've played this game for over 10 years. It has always been fun and challenging, without having to purchase anything. The last few years of the game have felt like it's more about how many random characters can be squeezed into the game. The other issue I have always disliked is that there is one item you will need 50 of, and that one character needs 200 -300 of that same item for just one level. Times 50 other characters needing it too.

The game starts fun for any Star Wars fan. Then, it becomes a frustrating grind with constant paywall progression. The developers have stopped listening to the player base, especially the free to play players, and have gone to a pay to play model, not just a pay to win. It has monthly "pass" fees to get highly needed, yet extremely difficult to obtain materials. The only good thing is the character variety to collect, but then it is a backhanded slap as you now need more materials to progress.

This game is fun and it is very helpful to have a great guild. However, the introduction for relic delta is forcing many to leave the game. It is a poorly thought out implementation that only benefits players who spend thousands of dollars. there are many other QoL changes that could be made, but instead they chose to integrate a new feature that makes it incredibly difficult for F2P or low spenders.

cant even get into the game. every time I try to sign into my account it gives me an error code and forces a refresh and does the same thing. ea customer support is a robot. If you lose your account that you put money in you might be screwed. Huge cash grab/pay wall game. One of the most expensive mobile games ive seen. $20+ for a character or 2. free to play is Deathly slow. no real story in the game just repetitive fighting. coolest thing is it's star wars and you collect characters.

I've played this game for almost a decade. As with all free mobile games there is a balance between free to play and spending. A good game makes players feel like they can succeed without going broke, but also encourages spending. Galaxy of Heroes has been somewhat successful with this in the past, unfortunately that appears to be changing. A newly announced update called "Relic Delta" will push the game completely into the pay to win realm. Likely, this will end up making me quit this game.

They finally gave me back lost characters. But the game is vertically unplayable. Because, just like before, it is a gamble to get past the first load screen. And since it has to load every page or thing one does. Then eventually game kicks off. I was only able to glance at my character list. After trying to see one of my characters, kicked off. Game has always needed some work. Seriously since it is proven that I have characters I paid for or to level up. Then I expect a refund..
