Had no way of knowing there were "two ways of confirming" the app does not tell you that ahead. Been using it 2 years and the station near me apparently uses the pre-sale type. And now I drove off without paying. Because the post pay "confirm" window looked like the prepay "confirmation" window. 80eur fine! App help doesn't care. Its great until something goes wrong. Then f me I guess. Also you can't update credit cards. They send me an email saying "it's fast and easy" yet it's not possible.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD! I almost ended with a theft felony. When I used the app two days ago, it clearly told me that I can drive away and everything is processed. However, since I check my bank account everyday, I found out last night that there is no such transaction. I checked the Ryd app and it shows me no transaction history. The app doesn't even show me payments that have failed. I contacted customer support and they asked me to settle the amount manually with the gas station. Uninstalled.

Very good idea which saves a lot of time at gas stations, especially when you would have to wait in a line at the register. But talking about saving time: The payment processing in the app takes far too long. It's like the responding servers have only a dial in modem connection. Fix that and it's definitely 5 stars.

Doesn't work. First it shows 1.61 price at a gas station, which in reality turns out to be 1.77. Then at the next gas station it shows the price to be paid, but then "there's a problem with Google Pay" although I pay at the cashier with Google Pay without any problem. Finally, Telekom coupon is promising 5 cents per liter discount, which according to the app is 2.50 on 62 liters! Anyway, just a waste of time. Update: The reply the developers does not address the main problem - it doesn't work!

I love the app. It's fast and convenient, and I love the faces of the people standing behind me as I fuel up get in the car, wait a moment, and then drive off 🤣. One point of criticism (hence the 4 stars instead of five) would be that I'm missing the option to add a second car. We have 2 cars, and I can't separate them when checking the amount I paid for yearly. Would be awesome if you could add that option to get an overview per car. 😊

This app and the ryd box are great additions to your vehicle. With ryd pay, it is now so easy to fill up your tank and go, without having to queue up at the counter to pay. Occasionally one also receives free credits for gas. The ryd box makes available a lot of valuable information about your vehicle directly on your phone, and add to the security through GPS alarm. In adddition to monitoring expenses, I can share live location with someone without having to spent battery and data on my phone.
