Dark pattern ads play constantly. They play when you adjust a setting. The settings are confusing, so going back & forth figuring them out becomes torturous. The ads are actively misleading. "Your weather app is out of date." "95% downloaded, click here to finish!" There are a lot of free weather apps, many which allow you to try them for free and make revenue from paid users or inline ads. it's not worth putting up with this.

it doesn't sell your data, and that's the only reason it gets 2* instead of 1*... I understand they have to have ads to keep it free but these ads are obnoxious, some lie and tell you that it's an update for the app, others force you into the play store in order to end the ad, the weather details aren't even that accurate, probably going to try another app.

CONSTANT ads! I don't mind some ads but this is just ridiculous! It's not just the ads either, you can't close them. I just keep going in circles getting routed back and forth from the Play Store to another ad no matter what I press. The app is completely useless. It was OK (not perfect but wasn't terrible) when I 1st downloaded it but has since gotten much worse with these repetitive ads. Uninstalling. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Last time I paid to upgrade in order to avoid ads, 9 months later it started playing ads and telling me to upgrade. When I checked my subscription, it said I had another 3 months of the pro version. So I definitely won't be upgrading again, as it was impossible to get a hold of anybody to have them fix what was going on with my account. It's a great weather app, but the ads are super super annoying. And they are prevalent!

Easy to understand and use, informative. I love it! Did. Now, I have to watch up to 3 ads before even getting to the weather! In any volatile weather situation, I need to know NOW, not after you made a few cents for ads. Yes I could pay $10 bucks to remove them but I got upset when after sitting through an ad and closing it to get the weather, I immediately got another ad, closed that and immediately a third ad opened. Unacceptable. I will not.

Dont waste your time. Ads are very intrusive. They last 1-2 minutes. Highjack whatever you're listening to, most without a way to turn off their sound. Even when the ad is over, finding a back to where you want to be is difficult. The only way out is exiting the app and opening again. They are trying to force you 'remove ads' by going pro. Pro for a weather app! Find another.
