About this app

Have you ever wanted to get into your car and when Bluetooth connects to your phone the music just starts playing where it left off in the player of your choice?

This app is designed to tie the Bluetooth connect event to playing the music player of your choice. Unlike other auto-play options, this allows you to select the specific player that should be used. Do you want a Podcast to start instead of music, you can select that, do you want a specific music app to play when you enter your home vs car or put on headsets and head to work out... no problem.
Why would you want this? Some Bluetooth receivers do not play at all, some target the stock music player, this puts you in control of what happens when Bluetooth audio connects.

**Important Note**
This App assumes you already have the subject Bluetooth device Paired to your phone using the BT device manufacturer's unique approach. It won't help Pair the device, the list that shows (as in the App picture) is a list of Paired (sometimes called Bonded) devices.

This App starts a Music App by package name and broadcasts "play" to start the player. NOT all players support this.

Stopped working for me. It appears it was updated recently, I'm not sure if that is the reason. Unfortunate because it's the only solution I found to prevent Android Auto Play from automatically playing podcasts when my phone connects. Edit: I contacted the dev and got an immediate reply (unexpected). He had me try several things that didn't work, but eventually he made an app change that fixed the problem!

Did not change behavior when connecting to my car. Tried different settings and couldn't get it to work on connect. The only impact it had was my phone no longer stopped playing when disconnecting from Bluetooth, and was blasting music from my pocket after I got out of my car. I gave it three stars instead of one because I know it works for some people, and the options the app has are exactly what I've been looking for. I can't believe these kinds of settings aren't built into every phone.

I finally figured out how to get this to work. If you find that the app is not responding to taps, try going into the permissions for the app and allow phone permission. I did that and now it works. I use it to stop audio autoplaying when I connect to my car. It works but I still get a split second of audio playing before it pauses the audio.

Unique and very necessary FREE app which I haven't seen before. Simple, clear and logic interface. Without any manual it must be clear how to use this app. There's no need to adjust the basic settings but you can if you like. On the main interface select your bluetooth devices which you want to connect automatically with your audio app of your choice. Click on 'Then Play' (right side) and choose your installed audio app which you want to connect automatically with your bluetooth device. Perfect!

Set it up and choose which app to start. I use it e.g. to choose which bluetooth connection (headphone or devices) that I habe started should automatically start which audio app. And it really does the job nice and smoothly. You can choose any app that you have on your phone. No ads or limitation so far. If I see any ads in future I will then consider uninstalling or buying it.

it makes connection to other things very quickly and easily. but everything it does you can get from Bluetooth Settings for free when the app is expensive around $26 a month or free off your phone??? silly question really isn't it. why pay like I did for years when it was available free the whole time I'm an idiot. trust me don't waste your money 💯
