I have been having to force stop and reopen this app dozens of times a day for MONTHS. When I search a chat for something in the past, I can no longer go back to that part of the conversation, it just hangs. When I try to save a photo from a chat, I get a "couldn't save image" error. If I try to share a photo from a chat, I get "Sorry, something went wrong. please try again". The absolute worst, by far.

I don't like not being able to see my entire message as I'm typing it. 😡 Apparently you've changed this app to show only two lines of text at a time. This is stupid and very annoying! Please change it back so I can see my ENTIRE message as I'm writing it! Add more settings so we can adjust things for the way we like it!!!! This review is NOT for an "older version". I have the most up to date version!

It is literally the worst messaging app on the face of the planet. How did Meta create this garbage when Instagram works just fine? I can't even watch videos back to back without closing the app and re-opening it. It's like eating a scoop of ice cream, putting it back in the freezer, taking it back out of the freezer, eating another scoop, and then repeating that for the 75 videos my wife sent me. But surprise! Sometimes the ice cream isn't even ice cream because it links to a different video.

Very good app, does exactly as it's meant to do! I've only noticed one major issue... when your friends share multiple videos with you, it takes you into your FB feed in between each video. This happens even when I'm viewing messages through the Messenger app directly. We should be able to just stay in the messages or even scroll through the video messages all at one time, like TikTok. 😁 This has become a pretty annoying issue as 'Reels' become more popular. Would be a 5 ☆ if this was fixed!

It works as described. I haven't had a lot of issues with it other than sometimes messages show up as just the chat bubble. it's like it doesn't load properly. If I close the app and reopen it the messages usually show up. Calling works fairly well. As long as you have strong Wi-Fi and/or data it seems to be fairly consistent. Sometimes the call gets choppy but I think that has more to do with the signal than the app itself.

I have had to force quit this ridiculous app several times a day, EVERY day, for nearly a week just to send messages, let alone send and listen to voice messages. Sending media? Yeah, it won't even pull up the photos and if it does, the media still may not send. I have written paragraphs, only to have them stuck on sending, having to force quit, and LOSING THAT ENTIRE REPLY. Fix. This. NOW.
