This is an awesome app! I can quickly and easily choose any book and chapter of the Bible that I feel led to hear (not confined to a schedule that takes time to re-plan), I can choose any of several translations (KJV, NIV, Holeman, many others), I can even set my morning alarm to wake me up to sctipture readings (just leave the app notification on). Sorting through the numerous options is simple, streamlined, intuitive and easy. I love it.

This is the only usable free offline audio Bible app I've found, and I tried a number of them! In order to get Bluetooth to work I have to start playing another audio app (such as Spotify) but after stopping the other app this app continues playing over Bluetooth, so that's a good enough workaround for me. It also makes it easy to download books of the Bible as a bunch of audio files.

Listening to the actual words of God from the writings of His own appointed preachers is the only best way to learn about God. Excellent App! Well done devs. The ads are not bad considering the free version but I would purchase just to support the developers to continue running this app. The only issue I have against is that there is music & sounds background when hearing the reading. This is annoying. I wish there would be an option to choose a reading with no music.

The app is truly a blessing. One request for a feature... To download a whole translation rather than one book at a time. A lot of phones have practically unlimited storage these days; Thanks. (Edit) I continue to use this almost daily after 3 years... and I have a new feature request - make it work with Android Auto (and CarPlay) so it will integrate as well in the car as music apps now do. Thanks!

This app is a perfect and straightforward, No-Frills approach to exactly what I need for my daily Bible reading and it has been great so far! I do wish that it had speed controls because I prefer to listen to scripture at a slightly more conversational speed of 1.25 or 1.3 and other Bible programs have allowed me to adjust the speed of playback so that's one feature I really wish it had been otherwise it's perfect and has a nice variety of versions as well as a nice layout.

I started using this app because sometimes I get stuck when I can't read certain names or towns in scripture. I've really enjoyed this app. It feels like I'm listening to a regular audiobook and I get surprised even when I already know what's coming. Then I go back and I read it later in my actual Bible and that really helps me retain the information. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes it won't automatically go to the next chapter and I have to keep opening my phone to hit "next".
