The app is great. I really liked it that I would have paid 4.99 just so it wouldn't have any ads. The ads killed this app. 10 of my friends and I ended up removing the app because of the ads. WAY TOO MANY AND LONG ADS! Please give us the option to remove the ads and add 10 more words to each category. People will definitely buy it :)

Good starting point. Straightforward. This app WILL give you lots of foundational vocabulary. This app won't teach you grammar (how to form sentences). You will have to look elsewhere for that. It also does not offer a spaced repetition feature so I don't find myself improving as well as I otherwise could. I found the Anki flashcards from Language Atlas to be better for retaining Italian vocabulary but at a higher price point.

So far so good, I have heard that other users are inundated with ads but so far this is not by my experience. The learning style is simple: oriented towards learning vocab, not grammar or full sentences. This app is very well suited for an ltalian tourist wanting to learn some key words they may need to get around/ask for help/etc. This app is superior to others like duolingo for that end, unlike duo, one can make mistakes without penalization. It is more conducive to learning basics for travel
