well since you no longer support this app and the 14 day guide is no longer available, there's really no [point of leaving feedback, other than the recent updates were bad in that when you record (DVR) a show it puts black bars on the sides... not all channels, only the SD channels, it adds black bars to the already-there black bars and it makes it squish-vision...

It's a nice app but since it's been deprecated, it's useless. The app lags, it has bugs and, considering using this app on Android 11, it's somehow "cutting" the menus and the image, the EPG is not working and other issues that needs to be fixed in order to work properly on the latest Android/Google TV version. So overall, I don't recommend it, even if it's a nice app which gives almost everything.

Installed on Walmart's ONN 4K Plus for an older RCA TV and it works just fine. Provides nearly all the same content and edit features as Samsung Plus. No adds or trackers like in most Playstore apps. Absolutely no complaints.

This used to be one of the better collaboration apps on Shield TV devices, however Google has since discontinued it through their "updates". You can still use it on devices where it was a System App however, simply "Uninstall updates" & make sure you never update the app again (this means you will have to turn off auto-updates). This allowed me access to my HDHomeRun tuner again, as well as programing from 1 or 2 other installed free streaming apps (depending on Shield model, the older Pro still more functional than the newer "tube" model). UPDATE: Recent system updates to Shield TV devices since the publication of this review have broken guide information in the app, I would assume intentionally. You can still access programming from TV tuners and a few other free apps, however you are now doing so blindly, because you can't see what's on those channels (only the channel numbers are still visible).

Worked well initially. After properly configuring all of my media sources, i was able to intergrate live locals (usb tuner) iptv channels and ppv movies and shows within this app. i was able to dvr all of the above and save locally on an external hd. as of 2/7/24 the app is working for now. the uncertaincy makes the low rating.

Version 1.21 had been working ok, until a week ago two major channels, on virtual 4 and 5 (actually, 48 and 39) changed their carriers. One of them is now on UHF 28 instead of 48. The tuner seems to find the new channels when scanning, and in the right place, but they do not appear in the guide after multiple re-scans and a full restart. Because of this, my Channel Master Stream+ no longer gets 4 and 5. Somehow, without any action on my part, my Tivo Roamio OTA (which uses a proprietary system instead of Live Channels) automatically updated itself and gets the channels fine. Hopefully, Google or Channel Master will fix this soon. Previously I was complaining that my Pluto channels were not integrated into the Guide. I struggled with that over a month ago, and no matter what I did, it didn't work. That seems to have been fixed, I'm not sure when. (10 minutes later) It's working now. I noticed an icon "add new channels" appeared on the home page. I clicked on that and it did another scan. It still didn't find virtual 4 and 5. So then I went back and did yet another scan. This time it got 62 channels (the very first time it had been 72) but now, 4 and 5 work.
