I used to love this app. now it doesn't work at all each and every update my phone is not compatible my phone is always compatible I tried uninstall reinstall try everything and it still does not work

Why would I want this? At least allow me to choose - don't believe this will be used on my TV. Am already running out of space and Google continues adding mandatory apps.

My application is to enter/edit long text strings into an NVIDIA IPTV box. They are difficult to type accurately on the remote of the TV box, and often need to be entered repetitively. I bought this app to do that from my phone (with its usable keypad) and copy/paste into the TV box. Although I could enter the strings via my phone with the app, there is no way (that I could find) to do the copy/paste from the phone/app to the TV box... which was sort of the whole point.

A nice to have for using a phone as a full keyboard but sucks since it's started forcing me to use it all the time. I don't carry a phone with me all over the house and especially not at night. I eventually had to install a third-party keyboard. I replaced my original Chromecasts with A-TVs mostly to have remote control without having to unlock and open phones apps first.

The Android TV Remote Service app is a great tool for controlling your TV from your phone. The app is easy to use and set up, and it works flawlessly with my TV. The interface is intuitive, and the remote is responsive and reliable. The only downside is that sometimes the app can be slow to connect to my TV, but overall, it's a great app and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable remote control solution.

totally sucks and definitely needs a lot of work. If this platform continues to uderimpress surly something impressive will fly along surely. needs work on CEC remote functions to do as much as the native remote. The Samsung remote is pretty much the same with a circle with a button and extra buttons as a bonus. Lets do something properly for once! It can't be that hard.
