About this app
Web Video Caster® allows you to watch on your TV videos from your favorite websites including movies, TV shows, live streams of news, sports. It also lets you cast local videos stored on your phone. Photos and audio files are also supported. Subtitles are detected on the web page, you can also use your own subtitles, or you can use the integrated search of OpenSubtitles.org.

Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to start streaming:
1.- Browse the web or the local file explorer to find the video, audio or photo you want to cast to your tv.
2.- If the video or audio is on a website, try to play the video inside the web page. If it is a photo, you can long press on it to cast it.
3.- Connect to your streaming device to cast the video, music, or picture.

**This functionality does not apply universally to all streaming devices.
LIMITATIONS & DISCLOSURES
As with all apps, there are some limitations we are aware of and want you to know about up front.
• We are in no way associated with any web media providers and we do not have control over the content they provide.
• The app does not support tab casting, like the Chromecast extension for the PC web browser.
• We cannot do anything to fix issues that arise on the server side (media content provider) such as failure to play or buffering, which is especially common during heavy load times and weekends.
• Refunds are only issued within 24 hours of purchase and you must submit the order number in text, not a screenshot.
PERMISSIONS
• Phone state - To allow the pausing of videos on incoming phone calls.
• Wi-Fi connection information - Required for streaming devices and for the browser.
• Photos/Media/Files (storage in general) - Required for the download functionality.
• In-app purchases - For premium version.
• Wake-lock - To keep phone awake while routing videos through phone. Should only affect live streams and authenticated videos.
• Accounts/Identity - Required by Google Play Services (7.5+).
• Location - This is only requested on devices with Android 6+ so the user gets a chance to decide and it is only requested when the website you are browsing wants to know your location. You can always say deny it, it will not affect anything other than that website.

this application sucks. It tries to cast every video ad so you can't even scroll a page, move 5 pixels, the ad starts trying to stream again. Endless popups about battery optimization. full screen ads that you can't cancel out of. If you want people to purchase you should make sure you give them a chance to give a use for your app first.

Seems to work great so far. Will probably pay for the full version soon. Good work developer! Discovered a problem: Many of the random forced video advertisements are rather violent, gory and disturbing. I just saw another one and started thinking that I could get nightmares from it! Seems 18+! I will still pay to remove ads later, but for now, I am curious how bad the advertising can be! The ads can be skipped of course, but only after what seems to be quite a long time of forced viewing!

Paid for the full version and things seemed to get worse. I attempt to stream a video and it randomly disconnects from my television. I reconnect and it does the same thing over and over and over and over and over with countless different videos. When it does stay connected and plays the videos it takes forever to buffer. Some videos it doesn't play at all saying it's not supported. Apparently this app can't do anything.

Like many of the other reviewers, I'm moving on from this app. It rarely works correctly and I constantly get an "oops" notification when it refuses to play the videos that run fine on other casting apps. After it won't play or while I'm trying to refresh the video, it's solution is just to bombard me with more intrusive ads. When I do get a video to work, the ads play and interfere with the stream. I'm not upgrading to premium if you are actively using these shady methods.

edited again...Having a hard time connecting and even harder to find the TV to connect with. Didn't seem to have these issues when I first used this app or I wouldn't have bought it..getting the sound to play shouldn't be this hard. Everything is working as it should. I assume all earlier issues were on my end.. I appreciate their quick response offering personalized help... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love it! This app has allowed me to see so many movies from all over the internet cast through my phone to my Roku Tvs using the app on the phone and tv. All for free. The app runs the video silently in the background on my phone while casting through to the app on the tv. I can do anything on my phone while watching the movies in HD on the TV. Very easily done from all types of sites. Never having to pay for anything.
