For the most part, great function. No weird mobile game scams, short, infrequent ads. Only complaint is that the chat room for ranked games is limited to while you're in the waiting queue, and as soon as a match is ready you're whisked away. EDIT: So, there is a keep waiting button that I didnt understand before. Also, devs responded to a bug report with great info. 5* :)

I enjoy this game. However, there are several major flaws. When you pick up the pot there is a reverse button and you can simply sort through the pot and decide if it is worth it or not. This is a major cheat because in any strategic game when you pick up the pot, you have to remember what is in there. The game is programmed for the computer to win 79.8% of the time. Even when you lower their level to one ☆. And while the game settings are adjustable, you can only adjust them to an extent.

Top notch Canasta game! I've been playing regularly for a couple of years and average 62% wins. In the early months, my partner frustrated me no end!! I wonder if the algorithm adjusted to my style of play, because I now have great respect for my computer partner; it seems like we work well as a team now. (4 player with partner at 5 stars and opponents at 4 stars.) Have patience! Highly recommend.

One HUGE Flaw. When playing online a player is allowed to pick up the pile, look through it and put it back! That completely ruins it for the strategic player. I may play 2 black threes, then a card that the other player wants, knowing he can't go out with those 2 black threes. But wait! He picks it up, looks through it and puts it back. Part of any card game strategy is remembering what cards have been played. Eight games in ten someone does this. They are literally allowed to cheat.

2 player is pretty good. But when you play 4 player the opposing team cheats, and it plays so fast you don't get a chance to see what the player to the left of you played. On one hand, I didn't get a chance to play and the opposing team went out right away. They had one canasta and 4 other sets for a total of 20 cards melded, and the other team member still had 9 cards in it's hand (for a total of 29 cards). That is impossible if you follow the rules.

Simple game that does what it promises! There's some amount of customization you can do to the cards or backgrounds, rules for creating canastas, such as point values to create first Canasta etc. My favorite customizable is playing against the computer. You can choose what level you want your opponents to be and your partner's level. (I have not tried playing online). Great for beginners or pros! I've played this game for several years. I LOVE IT! Check out their other card games too!
