On the one hand, it's great that this app features free online play with friends. Most other apps will only let you play strangers online, or else make you pay for basic functions. On the other hand, even at their hardest, the bots are pretty bad. They are bad at bidding and as a partner they often take tricks from you that don't make sense to take. If you are new to spades, these behaviors will make it very hard to learn good gameplay. Recommended for skilled online play only.

Seems administration or game monitors are not impartial or consistent in the rules of banning power. Might as well go to canned communication only, probably be actually more fun to play if you didn't have to concern yourself with the immaturity, that is so easy to get caught up in. sometimes games will just end as of they never started, I'm assuming admin players get frustrated and destroy the game that isn't going their way. Also I've seen many times the score doesn't accurately register.

I have played this Spades games for a long time. I like the simplicity and the ease of use. The players have even got better since my previous review a few years ago. The ads did seem far, play a hand, watch a simple ad. But if you think I am going to sit thru 30+ seconds of ads or 2 to 3 ads per ad break, you have lost your ever-loving mind. Youtube generally on required 5 seconds for a few minutes of viewing. Don't be greedy. Set the ads back to a fair exchange of a hand of play. Thanks!!!

I love this game, but I hate the set up, it feels like is 3 against one, my partner wants to get as many books as possible instead of letting opponents get books to have them go back,but oponents let you take books once they see they can't stick you,many times we had the game almost won and lost because of this. Game unistalled because of it,uuuff so frustrated. This game is definitely 3 against 1.

The single player game against bots is worthless! All your partner bot does is bag no matter how the hand is going to turn out. You'll want to smash your device, so play that at your own risk. The online games are great. Some mean people out there but thank goodness there are mute buttons. I've been playing this game for a few years. I have to give praise for not many ads or having to purchase something. That alone gets 5 stars. Try adjusting single player game mode is the only con.

The algorithm determines your partner and the deals. There is no real option to pick your partner in rated games. The deals are so obviously manipulated depending upon player ranking and game score. If the algorithm was blind, that might work but I have seen partner determination and deals totally change once you hit a certain rating level. There is no reliable way to stop table talk so cheating is easy. It could be good, but is mostly frustration playing such a manipulated game.
