Do not upgrade to this version. In the permissions, they have added more permissions than needed. They want to run a foreground service. This means you may not be able to stop the app, it will restart if you stop it, and they are accessing the install referrer API. This means you will be receiving push notifications based upon Target marketing. The music player you have as a default on your phone, is sufficient for playing music. DO NOT UPGRADE. I can't believe their response.

Thank you. I only used Play Music in offline mode. Now that they got greedy with You Tube Music I needed a replacement. This is it. I can listen to my music that I already own in the background. There IS a progress bar to track into the song. The notification area does have a close button when not listening. All controls are familiar. Works the same with my Bluetooth device including 3-clicks to go back a song. The adds could be way worse. Only a 30 second add to unlock the theme I wanted to use

Bless yall for this. I was devastated when Google Play Music decided to nope out and I couldn't listen to my mp3 downloads anymore. I came looking for an app like it and actually found one better! The dark theme has absolutely sold me and is without a doubt the best part of your app. I don't even mind the ads, seriously. They're worth sitting through to unlock themes, and that's what's great, you can chose to watch them. Thank you guys so much and please never change or get rid of this app!

Outside of a few minor gripes this is a solid music player. I love the trim option so I can trim a favorite song into a ringtone and unlocking cosmetics by watching ads ain't too bad either. Only thing I don't like is that it loads ALL of your sound files. So unless you specifically select all your music onto last played, your jam session can be interrupted by one of your phone's ringtones or message sounds and the only way to remove songs or sounds is to delete them from you phone.

I was just looking for a decent, capable and free app to copy music off my flash drive to my phone so my wife could listen to flash drive music and I'd still b able to have my jams too when I luckily found this one lol. I loved the music player and its very easy to navigate. I was skeptical about paying $6.99 to remove ads at first but after I saw just how much other stuff this app can do, it's well worth every penny!!!!!! It took the place of 4 different apps for me. At least try it !!!

This app is servicable and does indeed, play music. Unfortunately, there are just overall acessability issues and other minor annoyances. For one, it's not entirely clear how you get to the actual music player (tap the title of the currently playing song) in other words, a bunch of options and features such as looping your music (unavailable anywhere else in the app!) and the equalizer are seemingly missing for those unaware. Additionally, you need more than one song queued to loop music.
