About this app

Oojao Image Editor is a powerful and free photo editor designed for Android. It supports cool effects, multiple projects/tabs and layers.

This app is ad-supported to keep it free, but ads are not annoying and can be quickly closed or temporarily turned off in Settings. And there are no ads while editing!

You can do all the usual canvas or free layer manipulation such as resize, crop, drawing, erase, draw shapes, bucket fill, select, copy, paste, delete, move, align, rotate, flip and more.

Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation with filters or apply effects such as sharpen, blur, bump, shadow and many more. Undo and redo are available, and you can also save a set of actions and presets to re-apply them later.

Save your work with layers so you can continue editing later.

This editor i feel is the closest anyone has ever been to mastering an app that edits images. I don't really have much bad to say about it apart from that it doesn't always save correctly. It can correctly resize, crop, do anything.I wish you could have an outline option for images. It'd also be cool if the custom font could work with downloaded files, similar to how Text viewers work. I also wish that when you resize a layer it doesn't give you a resize limit. Otherwise good app.

Didn't expect much from this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. Has a good set of features, without an overly-complicated interface. When adding text to an image, you can choose from fonts saved files on your device, in addition to the ones it comes with. Such a neat, simple little feature but I've never seen any other app offer it. You can watch a 30 second add to get a week ad-free. That's very fair, and impressed me enough that I won't pirate this... Not that I would normally, of course...

I want to love this app, BUT: It's extremely buggy and crashes often. It's deeply frustrating to randomly lose all the work I've done when the app suddenly encounters one of it's countless bugs. The dev really needs to focus on debugging. It has the makings of a great app. I want to give 5 stars, I really do, but it easily has the most bugs of any app on my phone. It needs to do periodic saves to a temp file so work isn't lost when it inevitably crashes.

As a photo editor, it's great. It's got what you need and it's easy to use. However, like many people, I paid for the no-ads extension and still get ads. And they're the intrusive, full screen type with really loud sound. Even after trying the re-install method. Other than that, it's a good app.

Oojao is a fine app with useful features, but there's a fatal bug in it that you will only notice if you really get into using it. Occasionally all your edited pictures vanish! There are 3 save options, and one of them is a separate save&close button on the buttom of the screen. If you use it creates a "/pictures" folder and there's no guarantee that next time you look for those pictures will be there. This has happened to me 3 times.

I would add the 5* if it would have a bit more font options or let us add the ones we want, also to have a tool where we can erase part of the image and let it look translusent over another (the part that is erased) and if it could let us set the image by our size standard (inches, cm, mm, etc.) and ppi as needed (72, 300, etc) Its a great app but it could be much more awesome. Thank you though, for what we are able to use. (Ps. Been using it for some time).
