Update: they flooded it with ads, and many don't let you skip. I'd rather play my other geography quiz apps now, so I took this review from 5 stars to 2 stars. - I've been a fan of Seterra, Sporcle, and all of the geography quiz games, but I find that this one is formatted the best. I wish there was a desktop site for it or a way I could play against my students.

this game is awesome. my geographical knowledge has improved astronomically. it's super fun and there's so many different avenues for different learning styles, I've been using it for months and I've barely stretched the surface. just started with flags. I'm definitely to scared to do capitals and spelling. I love that they have pronunciation. it would be cool if there was a history element within the game, especially with the meanings behind the flags, but I can do the googles anyway. LOVEIT

The app works well. Very straightforward. No buggy behavior. I wish that the quizes could be broken down into smaller areas than an entire continent. For people who start out being able to identify less than half of the countries in Africa, for example, the continent could be subdivided into four units to be mastered one at a time. Trying to learn all of it at one time is going to be pretty slow going and frustrating for most people.

This is an incredible app! I downloaded it because I was frustrated with not knowing my world geography. It only took about 2 days and now I can confidently name, identify, and find any country on the map, including all the islands! It's very well made, the games are engaging and fun, and they do an excellent job of teaching! PS: if you've just downloaded this to learn, start with the 6 Guesses game.

A super fun way to learn every country, flag, city, sea... on Earth. I use the free version, but there's still plenty of stuff available to me. I like to do find mode, then eliminate. Eliminate makes such a satisfying sound when you get the right answer. Now I can literally name every country, sea, mountain range, on Earth and a good chunk of the flags/emblems for those countries too. I do wish it had an additional globe option. Particularly for the Arctic and Southern oceans.

The game is excellent — simple but effective. There are some minor issues though: for example, Oceania lacks an easy mode, and its normal mode is much harder than that of other continents because there are so many islands in close proximity. Secondly, the Next button seems unnecessary. If the goal is to pause the counter, I'd prefer a pause button rather than to have an extra click in every answer. Finally, the Confirm button overlaps the map so sometimes I accidentally pick the wrong country.
