I absolutely love this app but I can't find the monthly subscription option anymore, just coin packs. They added a 'Blockbuster' thing that I can't get rid of. Some people might like it but maybe add a setting to be able to turn it off.? Also, every time I've bought the monthly subscription before it vanished I would start getting ads again 3-5 days before it was due again. It didn't really bother me but I want to continue getting the subscription.

I dropped my review from 5 stars to 1. My reason is this: 3 days ago I purchased the subscription where you get a month free of ads. You're also supposed to get a 3 day free trial, an allotment of coins etc. My card is supposed to be charged tomorrow (8/12/25) and I never received any part of this "free trial". I immediately notified them when I knew it wasn't working, sent every screenshot they'd need. their tech replied asking for every screenshot I'd ALREADY SENT in my bid for help. useless!

I would easily give a 5 star review if it wasn't for the price to listen to a series. I found two series I like( My Vampire System, & God Eye). It's just WAY too expensive to listen too. My Vampire System has 2296 episodes. the cost of each episode is inconsistent. you can open about 4 free per day. the episode after that can range from 5 to 10 coins per episode(or more). 17 coins cost $1.99, 324 coins cost $29.99. this is an example of cost. Even on low end it cost too much. 2296×5= 11480

They have a few good stories. Unfortunately, some stories are good but the way they are voiced seems like it is AI or a person is bored reading. You only get a few chapters free a day. They charge coins and I find it not worth the cost. Cheaper to buy a book outright. Also, to get free chapters by watching ads...it works sometimes and other times you are forced to watch double the ads to unlock 2 chapters. So expect to be annoyed by watching a full ad without any credit for it.

Really love how it plays in the background 👌 I also love that you can add to the library easily and remove books just as quickly. It's extremely nice how much of the book they give for free and how easy it is to get coins to get more chapters. I have NOT needed money to listen. The only downside is the "continue listening" section. No matter what you do, you can't remove books from the section. It just keeps growing even if you know you don't like the book. It remains annoyingly.

the microtransaction system makes the payment option 10x more expensive than a subscription base model or buying the book outright. not to mention the more episodes you watch consecutively, the more tokens they cost... making it possible to spend $60 or more every 2 hours of listening. they are generous with the free episodes at first, but after 50-80 episodes or so, they start to only give you 1-3 free episodes a day. and some audio books are only 5 min long episodes. makes this app expensive.
