About this app
The Health Platform is an Android-based mobile/Watch platform service that helps you collect and manage your personal health data generated by various health apps. Health Platform supports Health Data API provided by Google to enable health apps to manage health data securely on the device. Health Platform supports Samsung devices only.
Storing data
Health data measured or recorded from various health apps on smartphones as well as from smartwatches can be stored on the Health Platform. (Types of data supported: heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood sugar, blood pressure, body weight, sleep, steps, distance walked, calories burned, intake information, etc.)
Syncing data
Try setting the data syncing (sending/receiving data) on the settings screens of various health apps that support the Health Platform. Health data stored on the Health Platform can be shared with various health apps.
Backing up data
Log in to your Samsung account to back up your health data safely. Any health data collected on the server is not used for any purpose other than for backup purposes.

Usage Environment
Health Platform supports Samsung devices only.
Tablets and some mobile devices are not supported, and detailed features may vary depending on the user’s country of residence, region, network carrier, model of the device, etc.
This service is available in approximately 70 languages, including English, French, and Chinese, and the English version is provided for regions that use other languages.
By default, access permission as follows is required to offer the service. In the case of optional access permissions, basic features of the service can be used even if they are not granted.
[Mandatory Access Permission]
- Physical activity: Used to count your steps or to detect movement
[Optional Access Permission]
- Body measurement sensor: Used to measure heart rate, body mass index, electrocardiogram, etc.
- Contacts: Used to confirm Samsung account login status
- Storage: Used to download health data from the backup server and store it in your device, or to store health data as a file when using the 'Download personal data' feature.

- Wear OS devices powered by Samsung

Please add better compatibility for ALL Android phones for the Watch8 and Samsung Health Monitor. It is ridiculous that my Watch8 that I bought for compatibility with Android doesn't let certain features work with my Google Pixel phone, such as ECG or Blood Pressure. I really want to like this purchase, but I don't want to have to resort to using an unauthorized APK file just to use the vital functions I want on this watch. This is such a disappointment. 😔

With updates you RUINED a good application and made it UNUSEFULL! Any attempt to track a workout with GPS, your application count imaginary paths with enormous kilometers and abnormal speeds for any related workout. You can see this data, but you JUST DON'T CARE! Cheap policy to push owners to buy a new watch. Shame on you!

I love the calorie tracking in Samsung Health, as I had created my meals and I do not tend to deviate from my diet, however the integration with other devices is horrible (smart scales, smart watches, cadence sensors, HRM monitors, powermeters, Oxymeters, other devices) I though this would help improve integration, it hasn't, not sure if the other manufacturers need to create their updates for this to work, but as of the time of this review, this is pretty useless.

Warning!!! This app got hacked and it is not possible to removel. To get it to update, you have to delete the Google play store date. Don't worry you won't lose anything as long as you have every app backed up. I reached out to Samsung. They are aware of the hack on the app. It will even install by itself when doing a search for health apps. After you get it updated you should be able to delete it. Last resort, backup everything on your phone. And do a factory reset.

It takes a lot for me to give an app only 1☆ but this one deserves it. It was constantly running in the background & eating between 10 to 20% of my battery daily even after putting it into deep-sleep several times! Unable to uninstall it so I did the next best thing & disabled it. This app needs to be completely re-done or just scrapped altogether.

This is the 6th time my review was removed. This app was force installed on my device with a recent OTA update without my knowledge or consent. This app is bare minimum, and crashes when you access the settings, and has little to no use for me. This app is also listed as a system app. Meaning, it cannot be uninstalled or disabled through normal means. Not sure why my review keeps getting removed. It's no different than everyone else's. This app is useless and only broke things for many users.
