for something that is named splice, you'd expect to be able to cut videos in half. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but there were only a limited resources and none of them were to cut the video in half. media, text, effects, music, overlay, blank, sounds, and voice. none of them are related to what I downloaded the app for, it's pretty hard trying to cut two videos into four when Splice doesn't split anything in half

It's a couple of issues for me. First on my Samsung Ultra 21, there is no "apply to all" function, which, if you didn't know it saves a lot of time with transition and clip duration. It's on the iPhone and maybe some other androids, but not mine. Secondly, you can move your tabs from left to right to adjust clips, only right to left. Love the app for the most part, but these 2 issues cause a lot of time. Please help, I have 3 days left on my free trial before I start paying for it.

I've been video editing since 2010, but soley on the computer. I refused to use my phone or tablet because I relied too much on the mouse. I found it easier to be more precise than using my finger. Fastforward 13 years, and I'm starting to use social media more, along with video editing. I downloaded this app and have been very pleased so far. Wish they had more options, but I'm sure they'll get to it. Maybe add more effects and definitely more sounds. It's a great basic app for video editing.

Had to help my kid with a class project and gave Splice a try. Very easy to use. It was the first tutorial I made and it turned out great. The only thing I found annoying was that I had to turn the volume up after voice recording. But maybe there's a setting that automatically plays recordings at a level? Overall, it saves me hours. I was able to upload a 2 min. video to YouTube within a couple minutes.

There's no way to open the file I want to edit. 3,000 small squares with numbers on them? What moron came up with this plan for opening files? IQ 82? Just guessing... Yes, I want to edit a file that is one minute twenty eight seconds long. Doesn't everyone choose files this way? Matters not, the app crashed 5 times before I gave up. Some app developers need to change career. I suggest catfish farming. The catfish don't use names. You can just ID them by their length.

I've used it for a few years and it's just gone downhill. I used to use this app constantly when I was doing YouTube videos and for the videos for my company, however, in the last couple of months it has stopped working for the most part. I will open up the app, import a video, and the video won't play. I'll try and put words onto the video and they will remain blurry - I can't move them, or change the size either. Along with that - the app crashes almost every time I use it now.
