This is an edit to my original review after having time to play. This game is still fun. the downside of this is the fact that it takes FOREVER to be able to upgrade anything in the village. It takes forever to gather materials, and then you have to wait 14 or more days for the upgrade to take place. so I'm dropping stars from 5 to 3. When you catch new fish, you don't get to fish for them, specifically because you have to get the lure. Not enough room to finish my thoughts. Great relaxing game.

going downhill fast. used to be a blast and I loved it. different locations, different fish. competitions were ok, standard pay to win, but still plausible without. picked the game back up after a break, tried 3 duels in lake guntersville for a event, not a single time did I duel there, even though I was on the map. lures are even less reliable than they were to begin with. unless you have a lot of luck power ups, you might get the fish you want 1 out of 5 times. hope it gets better soon

My overall experience with the game is very good overall. The majority of the time the duel matchups aren't very fair, but like all the other competitive games, they usually aren't. My biggest complaint is that every time some event changes you have to update the game every time. Sometimes I would be in the middle of a match and the update prompt would appear causing me to lose.

I've been playing for about a week now and I retract my initial 5 star. This game is an absolute money dump. every challenge that comes along you have to buy the lure to compete in it. if you don't, you will not place anywhere near the top and never be able to compete. it's truly a pay to win game. I will admit I dumped about $30 in one week to "catch up". and what an absolute waste. today there is a Chinese new year challenge, and guess what you have to spend $10 just to get the lure..

When I first got this game I absolutely loved it! Totally recommended, BUT NOT NOW. they are so greedy, everything is pay to win, and it is impossible to progress quickly without spending money on it. It may be that I dont play often enough to get anywhere, but I feel like when I go to play it my blood pressure spikes. It is beyond frustrating and stressful. don't waste your time..

Very fun game. Could have more info on how to play. revision: pay to play. Almost everything you have to do you have to buy. Prices are outrageous. Cheapest stuff will set you back 5 bucks. Until they quit doing the challenges where you have to buy the lure for 10 bucks to even compete. Almost every on this game is pay to play. If you dont like to spend alot of cash stay away unless they change.Revision 2: The game be free to play but you have to pay to be able to compete. Example:mystical lures
