About this app

Card Crawl is a solitaire-style dungeon crawler game played with a modified deck of standard cards.

Clear the dungeon of 54 cards by using item-cards, slaying monsters and managing your limited inventory. On each run, you can use five ability-cards (mini deck building) to gain unique skills. By collecting gold, you can unlock 35 more ability-cards to access new tactics and even higher scores.

Card Crawl’s four single-player game modes are enhanced by Google Play to let players compare their scores and the associated decks. A typical game lasts two or three minutes and is a perfect “one more game” experience while waiting in line or commuting.

FEATURES

• Solitaire-style gameplay
• Four game modes (normal, constructed, daily & delve)
• Dungeon deck editor for building and sharing custom dungeon decks
• 35 unlockable ability-cards
• Mini deck building
• Google Play integration
– To compare high scores and decks
– To challenge your friends
– To access tricky new achievements
• Two to three minutes of playtime per game

This game suffers from a SEVERE lack of depth. You start the game by beating a "dungeon" deck. The thing is, the enemies in the dungeon NEVER change. They don't get harder, they don't evolve, there are no variants... It's the same enemies time after time. The game is also very buggy. I got soft locked multiple times. And clicking on the deck merchant buttons just brings me to the leaderboards? That makes no sense . Maybe I would like the game more if I could get past these bugs.

I'll say this. It's rare I ever have a game installed on my phone for more than a week. Even rarer a mobile game will hold my interest for that long. But for about a month, maybe two, this game has had my full attention. The progress is slow, yes. But the game itself is fun, strategic, challenging, and well balanced. Tiny Touch games is one of my favorite developers. Monetization doesn't punish the player, and the unlockables end up way more rewarding than they seem initially. Highly recommended

One of the better card games on here. The grind to open the last mode is painful but the core gameplay is fun so it doesn't hurt so much. I appreciate that it's pay to play. Games with advertising are nice but sometimes I want to but a game and not unlock bonuses by watching ads or whatever. The developers of the game thought through the mechanics. It's simple but slight changes make a huge difference. The art is wonderful. It compliments the game very well.

I seek out games with limited in-app purchases or one-time costs to save my bank account from my weak will. This game entered my life because of that, and it's the most enjoyable one I've found to date. It's very much like solitaire, but with fun art and a greater degree of mechanics. You play a game of damage mitigation against a monstrous dealer, with creative card art. Nothing earth-shattering, but as entertaining as any gatcha game, and all without exploiting people for money.

The entire series of Tiny Touch Games are well-crafted and a joy to play. Card Crawl is no exception. Card Crawl is simple to learn. I encourage you to try this title, and if you like it, try Miracle Merchant also. I really enjoy Tiny Touch Tales' signature whimsical art and catchy music. You can play enough of the game to get a real feel for it, and have the option to deepen the play for a very fair price - an excellent model for app games, I think.

Like all of this studio's games, this one is simple yet brilliant. It seems so minimal, and yet is surprisingly addictive and replayable. My only complaint is one common to ALL the studio's games. The sound is unstable and after a time drops out. It may drop after 5 minutes, or 20, but it is going to drop. Still, their games are just so damned good that I just can't drop a point! I call this one 4.5* rounded up.
