About this app
Countdown days to any special event or date using Countdown in Status Bar. The Days Left are displayed in the status bar
Countdown to your special event using Date countdown in Status Bar. The countdown is shown in number of days and is always visible even when your phone is locked unlike widgets and can run up to 2 simultaneous countdowns in your status bar.

Countdown In Status bar you can enter the date and title of an event to count down to.
Features:
- Run up to 2 Simultaneous countdowns
- Countdown up to 500 days into the future
- Simple UI with easy to understand options. Remember Less is More.
- App auto start when phone is rebooted.
- Choose from a list of colours to identify and differentiate your countdowns or even match your status bar colour so the date blends in well.
Try them out.
- Displays the title and number of days left in the notification drop down
- Very small app with a small footprint. Virtually no battery drain
- Supports Android tablets.
To remove ads, Support the Dev and for more colours and up to 5 simultaneous countdowns PLEASE UPGRADE TO THE PRO VERSION.

Limitations:
- In Android 3.0 or above, and Android 4.0 or above, the Android OS has "automatic shrinking and dimming" for status bar notifications to focus on the main activity. The
icons do remain at their full size and at full intensity in the notification area when selected,

This is the only app of its kind I have found. While the UI is not glamorous, it does what it says. However, despite having all the needed permissions, after some time it randomly hides the notification which is something you very much do not want with an app that is supposed to he reminding you of something. Then you have to go into the app and remove and display the notification again (and get an ad in the process).

i want that the notification in status become always active but it didn't show it by itself before opening the app but what if I forget to open the app, then what is benefit of this app for me that instead it have to remind me, I have to remind me to click on it. Improve it, I always want the notification in status bar 24/7. If you can do it, then go ahead and Please improve it.

Used to be a fantastic app but now the numbers disappear from the status bar all the time until I open the app and click through each countdown... which makes me watch ads. It tells me that it's purposeful programming so they can earn extra money from ads. I can live without it.

This was a great app. However, when I woke up today, it had stopped showing the NUMBER of days and now just shows the app logo in the status bar. PLEASE reverse the status bar display back to NUMBERS.

Delivers on the minimalistic design. Does not automatically run on restart as advertised though. I find I often have to reopen the app to get the countdown in the notifications window

Please urgently remove the "days" word from the status bar so that the number is as big as possible. Otherwise it's useless!
