About this app
Displays the day of the week and Calendar day in your status bar.
Date in Status Bar Lite shows the current day and date in the top status bar. The date fits right in and appears as if it is part of the Android OS unlike some apps.

- In Android 3.0 or above, and Android 4.0 or above, the Android OS has "automatic shrinking and dimming" for status bar notifications to focus on the main activity. The
icons do remain at their full size and at full intensity in the notification area when selected,

I've had for years but the date doesn't consistently stay on in the status bar... which was the whole point. switched to a different app because of this. i hung in there for a long while... did updates too. Just defeats the purpose to have to do that. 😕 Hopefully they'll be a fix where "on" means it really starts and stays on, without having to manually turn it on. FYI i stayed so long because nothing else was consistent either or as much. So that's a plus, we shall see how this new thing go

Any app from Wagwan!! So freaking frustrating!! 👎🏼 I have been using this app for years. I recently tried several others only to find out it's the same app with different names and logos! None of them last. They all disappear. I have to reopen the app remove the date and hit display again. Like every other day. I wish there would be one that would work consistently!!! Or if Android would just give us this feature on our phones! 👎🏼

Like so many other users, I've been using this app for 7 years, and it worked perfectly, especially loved the day changing colors on the weekends. But since my Note 8, Android 9, in 2017, the colors no longer work, and I randomly have to manually start it. I paid for the PRO version way back, and even though the behavior is the same on my Note 20 Ultra 5G, I was just about to pay for the Pro version again until I read how many others this exact same problem has been happening, for a while now.

I used this for years, but got tired of the date vanishing about once a day. I will uninstall and use my watch instead. I don't know what bugs you are fighting with. If you could wake up once every ten minutes and put the date back up if it vanished, that would have been good enough for me.

I am using date is status bar app. The date is displayed in top left corner where the icons of other notifications is displayed. Whenever there are more than 3 notifications, the date gets hidden. This happens almost every hour as there are lot of notifications that keep coming every hour. Please let me know if there is any solution to this problem.

Reliably places the day of the week and date at top of screen in status bar ~ ~ ~ ♦EDIT 17 August '24---Sooooo it doesn't work on Android 12? Just got a new phone and after installing updates 'Date in Status Bar' no longer shows 😕. ALSO the latest version has full volume, screaming, unskippable ads, that DON'T RESPOND TO CLICKING THE 'X' TO GET RID OF THEM WHEN THEY'RE DONE! Well, it was good while it lasted. ~ ~ ~ ♦EDIT JUNE'25---STILL not working 🙅🏻♂️.
