Step 1: Install AtHome Video Streamer App on your Android device. A unique Connection ID (also referred to as CID) will be assigned to the device after the AtHome Video Streamer is launched at the first time;
Step 2: Download and install the viewer app AtHome Camera app onto another device which you want to use as a viewer, open the app, sign up and login;
Step 3: Select "Add by CID" or "By QR Code" to add a camera, you are all set to enjoy the live streaming!

The free version's quality isn't the greatest but it works. Video is somewhat blurry and occasionally lags a bit. Audio has quite a bit of distortion. You can hear light to medium levels of static and sounds similar to being underwater. You can still hear other noise just not as clearly as I would have perferred. However, it's free and it works. I like the motion detection and timed recording options that are available. Both options work well as I had anticipated.

Drops alot. Restart devices all the time to help keep from disconnecting. Doesn't seem to work, sometimes. galaxy tab and s-10

RED = viewer, BLUE = streamer. Thought I'd start with that to help others out! I haven't tried any similar apps, but not sure why I'd need to; the functionality here is over and above what I need and the ads aren't too intrusive. Would be 5* if the streaming phone didn't have to be on permanent charge (mine lasts 5-6 hours so wouldn't cover a full working day, but great for shorter periods). There is often a lag of a few seconds, then the video will skip, but that's not a problem for me.

You need pro to keep your videos. It does let you earn points to redeem pro benefits but not a whole lot. I've used it for about 6 to 8 months just because I haven't found another one that records as much as this one. If I had the money I would just pay for the pro version. I do like this app though. The one thing I would have to complain about is that you have to have the steaming or camera phone on to be able to watch your recordings from the viewer phone.

I use it for several years, great improvements since I started using it. It's a shame that this, which you advertise as the number one perk, doesn't work too well. "1. No more false alarms due to advanced AI and Deep Learning technology used to detect motion triggered by humans as opposed to shadows, lights, etc." I can't use mine for motion detection because plants and trees waving in the wind keep triggering it non stop 😩😤 besides that, perfect! Specially with the VIP service, even "V3"

i find it very easy and hassle free setting this up to work with old smart phones. This particular app is for the phones that are going to act as the camera. One will need another phone with another ATHOME app (the RED house) in order to view. Please keep in mind that both phones need to be connected to internet or wifi. I am using the free version. i love the features. the only trouble i had encounter is keeping the phone (the one use as the camera) standing upright at particular locations.
