genuinely love anki 🫶🏾 makes my academic life so much easier because learning almost feels kinda effortless, like others might've said before. making cards takes a bit of time unless you buy a deck, but from there, all you have to do is be consistent in your review. there are so many ways to make cards and customize anki to suit your needs too! and it's free (thank y'all so much)!!

I've used this app for a few years now and it's been immensely helpful with memorizing whatever you can digitally write on a flashcards. I primarily use it for memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules in foreign languages but I could see it easily being used for anything you would want to memorize long term. Would recommend anyone studying to at least consider this as an option.

I use AnkiDroid every single morning, the most-used app on my phone. If you haven't tried SR (Spaced Repetition) learning then you're missing out. I have thousands of flashcards for language phrases, currencies, and many other things that are helpful for my travels and I keep them all fresh in my memory for 3-4 minutes a day! AnkiDroid is super flexible and also super easy to setup and customize, a rare combination. Highly recommended!

I can't imagine learning a new language without this app. You can create cards based on books you read, words you meet in real life, words from study sessions. You customize the translation as you wish. From the desctop version it is possible to add voice from several sources. The amount of further adjustments is enormous, so literally, you can create decks that are perfect for you. Then synchronize, and use your perfect decks in the app 😀

(I'm doing a star because I don't hink I have used this app to it's full potential). I think this may be the only true free, digital flash card app (no add-ons or subs needed) that I've come across. It's not overly stimulating with colors and fonts, it is very much to the point. I'd recommend. Mt only request is a tutorial lol.

Absolutely wonderful app. I was duped by one of the fake Anki copy apps for longer than I'd like to admit (luckily they got no money from me), but I made the switch as soon as I found out and I am SO grateful. The simple UI is so satisfying. No predatory algorithmic slop. And it syncs across devices!! If I can't use a platform on both my phone and my computer, it's useless to me :P Worth noting that I use it for language learning and I don't need any complex features.
