About this app

Take on the role of an aspiring alchemist. Your teacher has succeeded in harnessing the four basic elements: fire, water, earth, and air. By mixing these elements, you'll be able to unlock all the recipes you need to uncover the secrets of alchemy. Inventions and potions, animals and plants and much more interesing things!

Create combinations using two or three elements (you can use every element twice or thrice). Recipes might be based on science (water + fire = steam) or on a set of symbols (fish + fountain = whale).

- More than 500 recipes.
- Classic Alchemy game mechanics.
- A stunning, colorful visual style.
- Free hints every seven minutes.
- The ability to suggest your own recipes.
- Adapted for the visually impaired.

Fun game! Ads are fully optional and seeing one of these alchemy games have three-element recipes is cool (such as the Furnace, which is really intuitive to figure out once you have all three ingredient elements). There being three elements means brute-forcing through moments where you feel stuck is less possible, but the game gives free hints at a fair rate. The art style is easy on the eyes too! Would recommend, great for killing time in empty moments during the day.

I'm pretty sure they make the combinations make no sense in order to get you to watch more ads, and they show you multiple ads while playing as well. The combinations are designed to make you watch ads or buy hints, rather than to make sense. Mirror, you'd think light, metal, and glass, right? no, it's light, metal, and water??? Really? what mirror do you use that uses water and glass? Hookah- tobacco, water, heat/fire, right? No, it uses steam. Steam is a byproduct, not an ingredient used.

It's a nice little game if you don't mind watching ads. But I absolutely hate ads, and my progress eventually stalled out as a result. Supposedly you're given a free hint "every few minutes" and watching ads takes time off "the timer" — but in reality there's no visible timer, and it's never specified exactly how long you have to wait between free hints. Practically speaking, you really just need to watch the ads if you want hints. It's annoying that the game misleads you about this.

so much fun! i have played a lot of these "alchemy" games & this one provides the same addictive experience with a twist: the ability to combine three elements at a time. i also like the hint system! it is missing a few features. it seems like there is only one possible formula for each item you can create. there's only two sorting options & no "lock item" option, which makes it a little tedious at times. it would also help to have a tutorial on the UI, a lot of things aren't explained!

I honestly should've quit after 200 items. A lot of the item combinations in the game don't really make a lot of sense like other Alchemy games, making it either really difficult for players to get some of the items, or spam the ad button. I also played the game all the way through, only to find there isn't an ending either. You just get to look at all the items in a list. While the three item combo idea is really cool, I feel like you might wanna rethink some of those combos.

Really solid app. Has one of the most user-friendly UIs I've ever seen with the ability to change the accent color, the option to download music or sound effects or not if you want to save space, and the ability to easily get hints without paying (although I was more than okay with supporting the developer). My only gripe is some of the combinations don't make sense to me (why is an octopus fish + vacuum instead of fish + spider?) so the option for alternate combinations would be nice
