About this app
1872, with a steampunk twist. Phileas Fogg has wagered he can circumnavigate the world in just eighty days.
Choose your own route around a 3D globe, travelling by airship, submarine, mechanical camel, steam-train and more, racing other players and a clock that never stops in TIME Magazine's #1 Game of the Year 2014.
Featuring stunning art by Jaume Illustration, a half-million word script by Meg Jayanth, original music by Laurence Chapman, and built using the same inklewriter engine that powers our critically-acclaimed Sorcery! series, 80 DAYS is an interactive adventure created by your choices, on the fly, and is different every time you play.
Playing as Phileas Fogg's loyal valet, Passepartout, you must balance your master's health, your finances, and the time, as you choose your own path from city to city all the way around the world. Bribe your way onto early departures, but don't let yourself go bankrupt or you'll be sleeping rough and begging for aid! Trade items for profit, and collect the equipment for the conditions you'll face: but too much luggage will slow you down...
80 DAYS is a breakneck race, with an in-game clock that never stops running. Trains, steamers, hot-air balloons, boats, camels, horses and more leave and arrive minute by minute.
Every city and journey is narrated via an interactive story where you control every action. Will your choices speed you up - or lead you into disaster? Will you earn Fogg's trust and respect? Will you uncover the secrets and short-cuts that can shave days off your time? Murder, romance, rebellion and intrigue await!
The app is network-connected, with a live feed that shows you the position of all the other players of the game, their routes, triumphs and disasters. You can race to be the fastest - or look ahead to learn the secrets of the world.
Share your own journey with friends, and load other's routes directly into your app so you can race head-to-head.

What's New
“Good news, Monsieur!“ I exclaimed. “We have been updated again, properly to support ’phones running the fourteenth edition of Android.” Monsieur Fogg made no reply, but he glanced up fleetingly from his newspaper, and I thought to detect an air of approval in his customary silence.

I've traveled around the world about a dozen times now, so I'll say this is a very entertaining game with a lot of replay value. A few things could be better such as the menu navigation and conversation flow. Would be interesting to see different starting locations other than London so we can explore places that wouldn't be in the ideal route (such as South Africa and South America!) I tried going to the North Pole on one playthrough and that was my favorite storyline. (Try it!)

Absolutely fantastic! If you're on the fence about whether or not you want to try this, DO IT. I've played from start to finish probably 10x over, and every playthrough has been a unique experience. There are so many storylines I'm dying to explore, and so many pleasant surprises I've only discovered over the last 4-5 playthroughs. I'm not easily impressed; I'm very star-conservative with my reviews as I believe there's always room for improvement...but this earned all 5⭐ in my book!

Fantastic game. Could play for hours, the story is engaging and with the number of cities each experience is different. My one wish would be the ability to look at past journeys and have a way of tracking progress (stories completed, countries travelled to, etc). It hurts my heart a little when this great story I've embarked on is lost after every return to London.

I've been playing this game on & off for a year and a half now. I must've played through two hundred times. Replayability is great due to the variety of random choices available, but the inventory interface...ugh, it's really difficult to move items between suitcases, and by the looks of other reviews I can tell it's not just me. It really sucks. Great game otherwise.

Absolutely amazing. So many cities to visit, so many paths to take, and people to talk to, and items to trade! And I love that even should you fail your trip, you don't get a "you lost" screen but rather get to finish your trip, and try again. I wish, though, that the game would let you drop it and pick up at any time. Right now, the game only gets saved at cities, so you lose progress if you close the game in the middle of travelling between cities.

I'll echo what's been said. Great game in CYOA style. Some may find it slow or too simple, but I've played through several times because nearly everything changes each time. I've been mostly successful, trips have taken between 61-79 days. Twice I failed, once due to time; the other, tragically. Options change based on time, items possessed, chat interactions etc. I'm trying to discover as much as I can with each play. Would love an achievement and stats page. Sad no update since 2019.
