It was a living hell trying to get anyone on the phone to talk too. The help center is a digital voice that doesn't solve any issues but just keeps sending you links. I filled out all necessary forms and from the links that were sent and got nowhere. I couldn't sign in because my phone had changed and they needed two methods of signing in. I was constantly sent in circles and called the help line 4 times; I never spoke to a representative once.

The app doesn't work. It allows me to sign into my account and then greets me with a completely white screen. I've opened and closed the app, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and tried to use the web version. This, along with their hiding of fees, saying "it's free to file through us!" and then at the end saying you owe X amount is exactly why I stopped using them. I really wish I didn't need to access my account to see my previous filings.

turbo tax out did itself! I've been going to another online tax place every year. let's call them G&Q Circle😉 Every year they tell me I can do it for free & every year I'm paying to get my taxes back. I never have an option for free once I start doing my taxes. This year I decided to try Turbo Tax & it was free from the get go, yes they did ask if I wanted to to pay for a tax specialist, but I declined & that was it. it was a simple step by step & very easy to do. Definitely see you next year.

I've been using an iteration of this app for many years and it gets shadier every year. It gets harder and harder to file for free. If you select incorrectly early on, you won't catch it until it's time to pay, then you'll have to literally start over from scratch. I actually set a reminder to call an accountant next year. I'm so done playing these sneaky games.

Originally chose the package that was reduced to free. Then it forced me to upgrade to the expensive package because of some stupid credit that I dont think I even had. Ended up costing way more than I could afford for nothing. It's become hard to navigate when I need to add something; but when I finally found it I wasn't allowed to add or edit anything!!! The way they charge $$$ for nonsense makes it feel more like a scam than help. GO TO A LOCAL PERSON THAT DOES TAXES IT WILL BE CHEAPER!

This is the age of hidden fees and the bait and switch. I was given three options, let them do it, guided help, or do it myself. I chose the do it myself free version or so I thought. At no point can I switch my selection, $79 later and then they have the audacity to charge $44 to use it from the return. On the app there's a smallll section on the diy page for the free version. You can scroll right past it and not notice. They guide you into the paid version, making you hunt for the real one.
