Changing my review to one star! I used to love this app practically used it everyday and now it's turned into an ad party. If you want to do a free version with ads then offer a paid version with no ads! C'mon its getting way out of hand. Plus the fact the pp looks at your search history to show ads of what you were searching for recently. My weather and local news app doesn't need to know that!

I love this app and have been using it for years, but for the last few months now when I log into the app, my alerts I had previously set for the radar disappear. Every time I open the app, I have to clear my settings for my current radar (storm watch/warnings ect..) and turn them back on. This especially feels bad when we are having severe weather in the area at the moment, and I need to see what is happening on and around me at the time. Hoping this is fixed soon

I come to KAIT because they are local which might be a better bet for some accuracy. The radar is excellent which is the main feature of any weather app. What could make this even better is an affordable pay version so I don't have to see ads. Loud annoying ads. Annoying ads that play at the beginning of a video but the video doesn't play. Yeah, the ads play just fine but I can't listen to important weather warnings. 2 star penalty. Stop being annoying!!!

Update: 9/23/25 This app still glitches too much. Videos will not play but ads do (repeatedly). Ryan Vaughan and R8 Storm Team may be the best I've seen, but this app is not.

Constantly crashes, doesnt send notifications all the time, ads are insanely loud and keep the video from working half the time. But they never fix it.
