I tried to join our home through my husband’s invitation, but his app doesn’t recognise my account. It sent me an SMS code that didn’t work, even after I allowed location access. We’re on the same Wi‑Fi, yet it still wouldn’t connect. I checked the FAQs, but the suggested solutions didn’t match my issue. When I tried to submit a query, the app made me re-enter my email and repeat all the details, even though I was already logged in and on the relevant FAQ page.

when it turns off because of a power cut as example or pulling the plug and then turn it on, when the scheduled scene sets the temp to 21 when the actual temp is 15 it does not start heating for some reason even the app clearly shows it is set to 21 degrees. child woke up from the cold because of this. horrible app and software. update, they refused to help i will never buy a kogan product again.

This was fairly easy to install and set up, and although it didn't seem to want to give me a verification access code through a text message, the "email the access code function" was fine. Once that was in order the rest was easy and fast to complete. That is adding switches to my home automation. It was certainly a lot faster and easier than another ( big ) home automation companies (products) program. Works well with the Google Home(s) and Minis.

Depending which device you're controller it's either good or not so good. The air fryer control works beautifully. The power smart plugs are handy but the software is very basic. The history trend just gives you a total for each day. I was hoping to see a more detailed graph to be able to see what's happening with my devices in a 24 period for example. How often the turn on and how much power with every cycle. Could be much much better with just a bit more effort.

Bought an atomiser. Not only does the app not connect, the printed manual uses "white" when the word should probably have been "light" and tells you to look for the flashing white light. There is no white light. there are four green lights. holding down the connection button does nothing. the app couldn't connect and told me to "check demerit points". What? Pigeon English, bad technology. Do not buy Kogan.

Was worried seeing reviews after I bought the smartplugs... and I was right to be. Not receiving any verification code on mobile number or email either. Going to get a refund. Update - got it working, would really be good to have a dark mode and would be so easy to implement. I could do it for free if I had the source code! Update 3: Cannot connect to 3 out of 4 bulbs anymore after a new phone upgrade. Connection is not detecting anything. Also gives a very strange unrelated error message.
