About this app

Built to help simplify your work needs, the Workforce Central mobile app (formerly known as Kronos Mobile) provides employees and managers quick, secure access to Workforce Central.

Employees can punch in/out for work, check their schedules, time off, benefits, and pay. Managers can take care of exceptions as they come up, ensure staffing and schedules are good to go, take action on time off requests, and other and other key needs.

The Workforce Central mobile app also works offline, so don’t worry if you’re not able to connect to data. Your punches will be stored and the next time you’re connected, the punches will be sent off to Workforce Central.

I cannot figure out how to request time off through the app, or even if it's at all possible. I scoured the internet searching for any tutorial or answer as to if you can request time off and how, and nothing matches. I click on my requests, and from there, the plus button in the upper right hand corner, and it just comes up with a blank menu that has nothing to click. Incredibly frustrating.

Rarely works, constantly tells me the server cannot be contacted. I lead a busy life and I can't even rely on an app to help me out even a little bit. Not happy that the company I work for can't even use a decent schedule check system either. In the end, you're better off wasting time and gas to go and check your schedule than wasting your time and energy on this app. Developers, get a clue and do something.

Logged onto my work's server to follow the instructions for setting up and accessing my account. Logged on and changed my password as prompted, and gained access. Next day it said my password was wrong at locked me out. Haven't been able to get in since. This app is terrible. The problem wasn't even fixed when my account was unlocked and I redownloaded the app. Horrible system. I'd rate this 1/18 of a star if I could.

The app is okay, but it could really use some updates. I hate having to sign in every time I want to check my schedule or time, so an option for a biometric sensor would be awesome. Also I think the schedule should be presented in a calender form instead of putting the days in a list and leaving out your off days. Lastly, why are Accruals and Time Off Requests separate entities?? They are directly connected. You should be able to see your accrued time when you go to put in a time off request.

Lacks features, and rarely runs properly. I use this application as many do to view my work schedule remotely, and swap shifts with colleagues. The majority of the time when I try to use this app it either loops to the login screen, or throws a server error. When I am successful at logging in, the application lacks a lot of useful features, and is difficult to navigate. It would be useful to have a way to reach out to colleagues, and notifications for upcoming shifts.

As far as having access to info and to clock in, it's fine. But the app is awful when it comes to loading up. It takes forever if the wi-fi is not strong. Other apps still load, not this one! Have to close and reopen it multiple times for the front page to finally load up to log in. Very frustrating when it takes a couple of minutes to cycle through the open and close process for it to finally work.
