They changed it so you now can't use the app without an account. Having an account is pointless, it used to be a great standalone product and is the reason I bought it in the first place. Ever since I've been having issues getting live data and reports when I don't have an internet connection. Not great when you're on the side of the road. Seems like just another way to get your data. App has been slow to connect and read codes too on some vehicles. The Vin read is hit or miss.

Good app, and I've been using the product for about 5 years, but the price tag is double compared to competitors who offer more functionality. I enjoy the software, but the live data functions are disappointing and limited... I'm disappointed that this device can not do something basic, such as reading CVT Trans temp. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for something like this due to other products that are available for $100 and can read CVT temps, reprogram TPMS, and EPB capabilities.

App doesn't run well in background, no convenient way to save live data for future review. I tried to measure fuel trims for my drive to Manhattan, started live data, switched back to Waze navigation, and by the time I went back to the app, it forgot it was running. 30 minutes of live data was gone, no way to recover. Stupid. The reader also has trouble staying connected when switching between apps, etc. Many bugs and issues that are easily fixed, but the app was clearly coded by amateurs.

Terrible new account required experience. When I bought the product it was app required but no account needed because there is really no legitimate need for it. Now it's mandatory and you can't use the product at all without signing up for an account. The worst part of it is that the sign up flow definitely has rules about what passwords are allowed but the app doesn't tell you what they are or even give an error. submit button just does nothing until your password follows their mystery rules.

They locked me out after a couple of years. Now they require an account to use, which was not required when I first bought this Scan Tool. I don't recommend buying it. they may require additional steps to use in the near future or they may prevent you from using the tool you paid for . Good Luck. 09/06/25 Can't even create an account with the app. You really never thought this through! time to buy another and still recommend staying away from this APP

Owned my BlueDriver for several years without issues, suddenly I need an account in order to use it and it doesn't want to connect. This company decided to unilaterally change the deal without their customers being given the option of agreeing. Want to continue to use the services you already bought and have been using for years? Too bad. Guess I'll be replacing this with something I can use when I don't have access to the Internet 👎
