I have loved playing this game for years, especially like that I can transfer all progress to new devices now. However, the latest update automatically brings up three button navigation at the bottom of my phone and it won't go away. This interferes with the game in a bad way and makes it unplayable. I've tried switching my phone to gesture navigation and that makes it worse! I've tried reaching out to the programmer to no avail. I hope they fix this issue soon.

I have absolutely loved this game through the years. It is a near perfect mobile tower defense game, free from ads and microtransactios. There doesn't seem to be anything modern that even comes close. The strategic gameplay is awesome. There is definitely a grind component, but I always found ways to make it fun while progressing. I've played this game for hundreds of hours, on two different playthroughs. Since I can't find any good modern tower defense games I may restart this one again.

Another update. I changed my mind the screen scaling issue actually makes for a nice challenge upgrade, you have to use other ui hints to see how much $ you have for upgrades. I like it! Update. Love this game ever since I installed it on my galaxy s3. Recently started crashing and figured it was the end as it's an old game that hasn't seen an update in years. To whoever fixed the crash bug and took the time to update this game in the play store; thank you! You're my hero!

Love this game for what it is. Low pressure low reward, low payoff, it's just laid back gaming. You can choose levels and progress through difficulties. It's not addictive. It's as perfect old school antithesis to modern psychologist engineered to keep you addicted and charging your credit card game with celebrities in commercials during the Super Bowl... This is the third or fourth phone I've downloaded this game.

So refreshing to play a mobile game that isn't pay-to-win. The free version is fine, but with such a low price, it was a no-brainer to shell out a couple bucks for the paid version. Achievements and reward points system is simple, but elegant. At a certain point, it might feel like a grind to some people, but it still keeps my mind engaged. I like to play a level or two at a time and then take a break. And the difficulty progression is completely self-paced.

This is still the best Tower Defense game on Android. There is no pay to win nonsense. The towers and upgrades are straight forward and you the differences in the damage is consistent with the type of tower. The best thing about this is that you can build the path. Many of the TD games already have a predetermined path that you have to defend. I would love to see this developer make a Robo Defense 2 with similar gameplay, but better graphics and more enemies and towers.
