I've used this app over the others for several years for the simplicity of being able to build my own route by dropping pins where I wanted to go by using the roads that I wanted. that option has been taken away. you can't even go to the add a stop and drop another pin somewhere along the route. you can only do it by adding addresses. yup although Google maps has always been more complicated you can at least use 2-3 steps to go through a process to drop pins along the route. I'll be switching.

Great, Used for years. I only gave 4 stars because I do wish they had not changed the icon to Green. Otherwise I would have given five. It was much easier to find in the mottled black, because it didn't look like anything else. Although it doesn't tell you where the cops & accidents are, or reroute you around heavy traffic like Waze, I still always check MapQuest because of the ease of choosing different routes, etc.

Mixed bag. The Mapquest website used to allow you to build a custom route to where you were going. There are aspects I like about the app, but even though it gives me 2 or 3 route options, it keeps changing to the fastest one without telling me. Then you have to start over. If you add a stop, or even look for one to possibly add, the drive you are on ends, and you start over again. This may be OK for a work commute, but not a road trip.

Found several errors when I searched for items. A couple examples, numerous businesses shown in a restaurant search have been closed for over 5 years. Map shows a Whole Foods one mile from its actual location at the site of a Walmart. Not sure where Mapquest is obtaining their data from, but they need to make sure they are checking the accuracy of it. Six years later and this app is still awful. I visited Santa Fe, NM and would enter destinations and it had me going in circles. Never again!

Wish for a gps app that doesn't exit the route when it assumes you've arrived. At least this one stays on the map but removes the marker, many times you have to drive by a couple times to find it. Especially at night! But i like it better than google maps and waze which totally exit route. police traps, speed traps, red light cameras would be nice! sometimes the speed limit is wrong. if you're not on a road it has a hard time figuring out what direction you're going, just spins around.

Sometimes the voice doesn't give warning ahead far enough to turns and exits, but sometimes they're excellent. I'd like a little tweaking so they're all timely alerts! I do like the way I can get it through the bluetooth. Again the voice told me to turn when I was past the street. Not enough warning ahead. The distance is longer than actual. Many times. Review and change. Please! Voice is often too late for turns and estimates often not accurate. Again voice doesn't give accurate information.
