About this app
RTA Smart Drive is an on-board route planning, exploration and navigation app that does not require a mobile internet connection to search and navigate.
It provides turn-by-turn voice and visual instructions, automatic rerouting, speed limit alerts, and displays POIs along the route.
Live Traffic lets you know where there is traffic, road works and accidents and reroutes your trip automatically. Instantly view real time traffic info and adjusted travel times on multiple saved routes.

This is very good app. It's much better than Google Maps to navigate in Dubay by driving. It instructs you to turn left or right and how many lanes are possible at the exact time based on current location. However, at the point: 55° 16' 11.01'' E • 25° 12' 8.22'' N The navigation does not tell to go left or right and it may mislead the user.

It is good apps, but all the time it makes confusion. Like if I choose a route and I am on the way, it gets disconnected from GPS and after a while when it connects it takes another route and roaming around and around which waist almost 30- 45 minutes. Its needs to improve. Google is the best GPS system. I dont know whenever I used it tries to go through all signals in the city..I can say it needs much more work to improve its function..Regards Ejaz

Wonderful application. except for one hiccup that always bothered me using the app. it is that it is difficult to identify whether you should make the turn on certain highway filters, as the destination route line too wide and thick. perhaps if it was narrowed down a little, it would make it easier for the driver to read ahead whether he/she should take the filter or not.

I needed a Sat Nav for a short car hire and was advised to use this app as a data connection is not required on the mobile phone. I have a Huawei P20 pro and the GPS signal was very strong, I had no loss of signal whilst using it. I was able to search for locations whilst being 'offline'. The app gave me clear instructions straight to my destination and also the option to avoid tolls. I would highly recommend this app as an alternative to Google maps.

its the best app to drive in Dubai. it's amazing. it tells you which lane to take to turn where. its especially good for the exits on highways. And unlike google maps it doesn't confuse with unnecessary street names. no one follows street names in any case. everyone follows landmarks. this app gives the clearest driving instructions for UAE. It has the most updated maps. and best of all, it won't guide you through bus lanes and one ways that google maps will. that'll save you a lot of fines.
