Mixed feelings. Overall I love this app and all the editing options. Five star. The problem? I subscribed via desktop and there is no way to cancel the subscription. Customer service has ghosted me. I am going to have to go through my bank to cancel! One star because that is super predatory and very frustrating. I've been fighting this for over a month meanwhile payments keep coming out.

Absolutely amazing app!!! Even with the free version, I can still do everything I wanted when I downloaded it. Paying would give me more/better options, but I'm a simple gal. The extra options would be nice, but they aren't needed for a good edit. A big thank you to the creators for giving us broke people a decent amount of options for our edits🥹🖤

I previously sent a different review, I was a little upset and was unfair with it. I love the app overall, there are however constant changes sometimes when not needed, as well as making it hard to do the "ai portrait" or "AI art". With the portrait you need multiple photos, and some may be rejected, this is not the most convenient but I understand why it's done that way. For AI art, there used to be a slider to how similar you wanted the piece, I think that should come back someday.

So I got this for the anime ai filter and I have to say it did not disappoint. There are a few hiccups I noticed but they aren't entirely a big deal. It has trouble with more than two people, which is understandable. The only other problem with it is that it has trouble with different skin tones and short hair (usually turning short haired girls, like myself, into dudes or making the hair long.) Not huge problems and it is one of the best filters out there especially for free.

One of my favorite go to editing apps. I like the choices of filters depending on portrait, objects, landscape, food, and old photo effects. I'm also a fan of all the different frames and how they are often updated and you can search through the gallery and download. The body editing is also really subtle & natural. If someone took a horrible photo of you at a really bad angle, Meitu can really help fix the proportions. A lot of the features require VIP though, so heads up you'll need to pay.

I really like everything you can do on here, it's been my fav editing app for yrs! But now more and more stuff are for subscribers, even some stuff that used to be free! I would much rather watch an add here and there (not too many tho), instead of paying that much. I just can't afford it. Also, this app ended up taking over 1gb of my storage! I had to clear the data and uninstall.
