The compass app can be used for direction, location and navigation.

- Every compass requires magnetometer on your phone to work properly. If your phone has no magnetometer, the compass won't spin. Alternatively you can try find direction using Analog Clock provided in the app.
- The compass app requests location, and network permissions. The
permissions are required to get current location to show on google map, find address, get weather conditions, get true north, enable Analog Clock and Qibla to work.
- Camera permission is required to use flashlight and camera view.
- Reading and writing file permissions allow you to import and export csv file, save and load images to and from the app's folder only.

Quick install, compass seems to be accurate, so will be useful for fengsu in the home for instance to make sure the head of the bed is facing North for a good night's sleep, and also for gardening so you can check the best position for plants and veg. As a new user cannot yet say what effects this app will have on my phone, such as draining the battery, time will tell.

If you like to have a multi tasked, precised and easiest app on you phone than Compass is one of the best app to have. You can search you favorite places, can have directions, weather updates all these features at a time in a single app. Just a request if i can have the numeric value of directions then it will be great. Other than that i sometimes have to restart the app as it gets stuck on the phone.

All very good. Your analog watch is obviously using calculated sun azimuth from solar positioning calculations. This makes it very accurate. People who try using strictly by means of typical watch method might not understand the difference unless you point that out. And just for fun, can you also explain how I can calibrate your bubble spirit level ? Glad about the weather and free maps. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Doesn't work at all for me. When I start the app it correctly Points North but when I turn directions, it doesn't change where North is on the compass. I did the Figure 8 thing and have tried several other things, but no luck. Other Compass programs I installed after this worked fine. My phone does have a magnetic sensor. It's a moto G6 Plus

I get easily "turned around" in a new city, place especially when overcast or cloudy. Giving directions to First Responders as I need to do can be challenging. With this clear, precise compass I am able to report better information. Sometimes I don't believe the compass right away.
