I've used Inshorts for a long time to get my news quickly. But over the last few months, I'm seeing news from topics that I've specifically marked as "not interested." It's super frustrating. I emailed the Inshorts team to fix this, but I've gotten no response. I even reinstalled the app, but it didn't help. If you want a reliable news app that respects your preferences, look elsewhere. [Update: If this issue gets resolved, I will change my rating.]

The brief manner in which the news are put is really effective. However, some irrelevant news pieces keep popping up (more & more) even after dismissing such as 'not interested' Edit: News must be less subjective. If I want someone's opinions, I would rather be reading blogs. Of late, some of the pieces are coloured with (writer's) views. Also, for 1 out of 5 news piece, there's an error loading the news.

It is free! I have only had a short while, but it seems good so far. It is more than just a snippit headline packed with acronymns that few are familiar with. It gives enough detail but does not overwhelm reader with too much filler (because author gets paid by the word). I will keep watching for now. Thank you.

If there was an option to give 0 stars, I’d go for that without thinking twice. I’ve been using this app for a long time. But from quite a time whenever I try to open a news article from a notification, the screen goes blank and it's really frustrating.. it just keeps loading and never shows anything. Honestly, these updates feel worse than before.

it shows ads which requires double swipe, unlike single swipe all shorts.. this is highly irritating.. plus they have not kept any option to report that ad. there should be a option for app user to report the ad, if they don't like, perticularly the way ad is displayed and users are forced to see this. rest all feeds are good and very convenient to read.

i'm getting really frustrated with this app! The notifications have been wonky and content loading has been a nightmare for a week now. Can the team PLEASE fix this ASAP? This is the second time I've had to deal with this issue in just a month, and I'm starting to lose patience. It's such a great app, but these technical issues are really bringing me down. if these technical issues persist, I'll definitely uninstall and recommend others to do the same. Users won't tolerate glitchy apps.
