Kickgoing is great when it works. Unfortunately I have wasted far too much time searching for scooters that appear on the app but don't exist, or have connection errors, or claim "low battery" despite appearing at 70%+ on the app. This program will cause you far more stress than it should. Do not download.

I can't even set up an account. Most of the time I can't reach the sign up screen because the button to move to the next screen doesn't work. The few times I have been able to get to the phone verification screen, I get a SMS confirmation and then I put it in and all it says is "something went wrong" with no help beyond that. It is a very frustrating set up. I have not been able to get an account set up successfully even with Korean friends helping me.

really useful for getting deep into the university campus ( Yonsei). when this scales up it could be the next big thing for "the last km" transport. best to register a day before you actually need it though; you don't want to go through the check screens when you are in a hurry. much faster scooters than g bility also

Positives: Large fleet. Good-sized service area. Accurate GPS (though some users do hide the scooters). Pay-as-you-go is a BIG plus. Negatives: App could be better. Also a little pricey, but it will do in a pinch.

Overall great app and kickboards! First public electronic kickboard app to form in Seoul (: However the acceleration levers don't work as well as other kickboards because you need to kick start your board before it generates momentum.
