This game is only suitable for people responsible about their money. It is very heavily Pay to Win, SO much in the game asks you to use premium currency it's not even funny. You WILL hit a roadblock at several points in the game halting progress unless you pay. Not just competitively, but even for just getting your favorite fighters. It has an extreme time investment (1+ months to collect a character if F2P, everything comes in pieces), so beware of your time and wallet with this game.

King of Fighters is nice, and this game could be better. I've played without spending money for 40 days, and if you're like me and don't want to spend a dime this game might not be for you. Your energy bar seems plentiful, but the amount of grind involved will easily eat it up within minutes. You only get to refill it with currency twice, and the other methods to refill require hours or are just not efficient. Definitely a heavy emphasis on pay to win, pressures you to try and keep up.

Been playing for a year, this is a planning and resource management game. If you're a compulsive spender, then don't bother. If you're into team building, then this is the game for you. There is a certain paywall where you can earn many more diamonds after spending approx 40$. Ppl serious about this game will generally want to at least unlock beyond that wall, so if that's not an option, don't suffer yourself. This game requires planning and forethought. Like Excel spreadsheet, no joke.

I like this game! The gameplay, the visuals, basically everything here is neat! All... but the text. The dialogue text is busted. Not the worst I've seen, but it's definitely bad. Also, the characters don't act like they do in the official KOF material, but if the skip button's there (assuming it is possible to skip dialogue in this game) then that's something avoidable. Overall, good game, but please fix the text errors.

The game would be more fun if it wasn't programmed so cheesy. The computer literally starts off with a full powers. While we have to go 4+ turns to use one power a piece. That's why they win most times. They all hit you with super powers and then all do basic attacks. There's no reason to have the computer that cheap. They should have to go 4 rounds to build powers like we do! Uninstalling. The limited mission chances (only 3 chances a day) and the fact we may not get a character shard? Bye!

A very good game, quite entertaining, especially for fans of this series. The bad thing is that each update comes with many errors, both in the gameplay and even when entering the game, and we have to wait for them to be corrected and again, everything will be fine until the next update.
