Tuner is absolute top shelf best you're ever gonna find.... EVER. Don't even bother looking, don't even try finding something else. The subscription is definitely worth it. The little practice lessons can help dial in those tricky strum patterns or nail the intricacies of that solo you've been struggling with. 5 stars is too low, this is a 6-star app. If you found my review helpful, buy me a beer or something. Scam - if you want to subscribe monthly, there's NO 7 day free trial. You only get the free trial if you agree to pay for a full year up front ($140), and they do not make it clear at all when you're checking out. I was dumb enough to not read the fine print, tried to used the app to tune my guitar and was immediately turned off by the way this tries to gameify guitar tuning, canceled my subscription after maybe 30 seconds of using the app and now I'm out $8.

Good games, but the sensitivity still needs a lot of help. In one game all the proper strings turn green when struck but the game won't give credit for it, making you play it several times. Other times I will misplay a chord and it will give me credit. 9/19/25 - Still does all the above, but has gotten worse, and now it makes you hit the strings HARD to be played loud to get credited, which isn't good form! Clear doesn't mean loud.

Edit: I was just pissed that the trial expired and was under the impression the Play store would notify me. That aside, this app is pretty helpful. I like how it gets you started immediately with songs so that it keeps you entertained and not bogged down with music theory. Maybe more info for beginners on chord transitions or holding the guitar, things like that Sometimes the app says I'm doing better than I am, or it doesn't register the notes I'm playing but eh, nothing is perfect.

It's the nicest tuner I've found for Android, but it takes forever to load. I don't use any of the other features so I wish they'd offer just the tuner as a standalone app (hopefully that loaded faster). I'd be willing to pay a one-time app purchase fee for that, but I absolutely will not pay a $6/mo subscription for this, where 99% of the fee is paying for stuff I don't use, so the constant prompts to upgrade are annoying. Please consider selling the tuner as a standalone for a one-time price.

it's so great! I've been playing professionally for a while now and I always lose those clip on tuners and then I'm in a bad way for a show! but with this it's just right there in my pocket. and that's just the tuning part! learning hundreds of songs and practicing new scales and sharing your music are all possible from this one, free! application! if your serious about music or if your a beginner I would highly recommend this trust me you won't regret it..... I mean how could you? it's free
