Patreon in general, is an amazing idea. They're doing a great job with the app lately too. Many improvements. Sadly, the auto play audio feature keeps going, even when I turn it off. (I hate auto-play. I have my own podcast app and never want to listen to something with the Patreon app). I'm still happy enough that I give it 5 stars.

After years of hearing about this platform, I only just installed this app and video player is THE WORST. The controls are in the center of the video and do not go away while the video is playing. Not only that, the CONTROLS are in front of the video, and by that I mean, the video is shadowed in the background so you can't even really see the video while playing it. This is in full screen mode as well. Will try to use the website to see if that's better. Not a good 1st impression of service.

was doing absolutely fine until this update. I have been loyally subscribed to 1 creator, and now it's telling me my payment isn't going through. I've been using the same card for a long time with no problem. It's showing up on my 1 card, but says it's trying to charge it on a different card of mine. I can't fix it on the app or on the internet!

Years ago I subscribed to a creator for just a couple months before ending it. it has been 3 years and they've continued to charge me for the membership despite my account saying I am not pledged to anyone. The creator I was pledged to doesn't even have the same subscription anymore and it actually costs less. It says I don't even have a payment method on file! I've already verified that I'm looking at the correct account as I have old emails from 3 years ago about the membership and content.

1. Open app. 2. Tap the "currently playing" bar which shows the last video that was playing. 3. See the video with the time left (e.g. 8:45 remaining). 4. Tap "Play". 5. Video starts from the beginning, losing my spot. Resuming playback where I left off seems like a pretty basic feature that this app should be able to do, especially at this age and when it's advertised. Also Chromecast still doesn't support high-definition quality, so there's no way to watch content on a TV without a PC.

Disappointed. For a paid app (you typically pay to see peoples content), this should work better than it does. The controls for videos seem like they were designed to make using it as frustrating as possible while still being usable. God forbid the dumb comment box shows up and now you are losing 1/3 of your screen to the comment section. It will not go away unless you restart the app. And sometimes you have to restart it multiple times. The video player is missing basic controls.
