More like a 3.75 - The game is interesting, and there aren't a ton of ads, though they do seem to randomly pop up. Some of the clues are not intuitive at all, or the angle of things make it difficult to catch the clue (Malibu, Part 5 - the Evidence specifically). But there are plenty of hints available if needed. For the most part, if you search the game enough, you'll find what you need to make progress.

I love this game and played it a lot around a year or two ago. Always loved that they put so much effort into hiring actors to do videos & voice recordings. Redownloaded recently, and was disappointed to see they redid a lot of the early cases to have ai images. The old assets were just fine. The realistic ai images don't bother me as much as the ai art they use for the mock food restaurants / apps. Very disappointing to see the newfound laziness. Def not putting any money into this game now.

Amazing game. There are no pop up ads, the content is voiced and acted out, the story lines are detailed and fun. This is by far the best mystery game you will find on Google play. Edit: Over the course of a year they introduced heavy pop up ads and a decorating mechanic. considering how high quality the app is this was to be expected but it is still very immersion breaking when you're in the middle of watching security footage and an (albeit short) ad interrupts you.

4 stars because the game is a battery drainer. I understand that you need a way to make money but that's unnecessarily a stupid amount of ads. You could replace the 15 minutes waiting time between chapters with a mini-game challenge (For example get 500 score to continue or something reasonably achievable). Nonetheless, his game has a lot of potential and I truely wish you good luck.

Peek a Phone - Detective Game is an engaging and unique concept for a detective game. The gameplay is immersive, and the puzzles are challenging yet solvable. The storyline keeps you hooked, and the graphics are well-done. However, occasional bugs and glitches detract from the overall experience. With some improvements, this game could be even better.

The game itself is very fun, and I've only become stuck a couple times. However, the fact there is an ad after every single step you complete (every password you put in, generally) is way too much, and the ads are terrible as well. I'm fine with watching ads to not have to wait for the mission cooldown or whatever but I'm not gonna do that when I'm shown a ton of scummy ads every few minutes already
