Adequately entertaining. Flaws include instances where the game crashed while playing an ad; difficulty seeing the health bars, meaning you won't know your characters are about to die until it's too late (all bars should be put on a corner of the screen, visible at all times); and poor AI making the party split up when I try to lead it. The characters automatically gather resources despite the in-game inventory being at max capacity, wasting the resources gathered.

EDIT: After a recent update, you can no longer get the new monthly hero through completing the monthly event and need to pay for the rumble pass. That change makes this much closer to a pay-to-advance type of game, which I don't like. Formerly a 4 star review: Game is pretty good, although it turns into a bit of a grind after a few hours of play. The ads for other products aren't forced on you either, which is great, but it does push in-game ads for in-game purchases pretty hard.

Id give it closer to a 3.5, but I can't. I really like this game. It's cute, it's nice to background, and it's just cool to see 10 characters running around at a time. The big problem: it is impossible to level up all your characters at a good pace. Why, you ask? Meat (Hero XP). There is really no way to farm it besides to just go out into the map and stand around for awhile. This wouldn't be terrible if there wasn't only an hour of auto play per day. Even the mtx don't have enough to help

Pretty fun for a couple days. The hero draws are rigged to get you to spend gems, generous at 1st then very stingy with the occasional bone thrown out. I don't like the bait and switch tactic. It's better to be consistent, when you lower draw rates all of a sudden after several draws then it just feels like something was taken from us even if it's free. Leaves a bad taste. Play gets hard fast, dungeons are too challenging now that I've pushed as far as I can. Nothing to do now so I quit.

Very predatory micro transactions. I cannot express how many times I've used the x3 in the pub and 99% of the time it lands on common. (I've had literally 1 exception). The amount of money you can sink into this game is in the 100s of dollars. I'm ok with dropping some cash, but here I feel like I'd get almost no return unless I open a damn mortgage. The biggest shame is that the game really is fun but getting heros/leveling up is super frustrating.

This game is wonderful. The gameplay and mechanics are great, and there hasn't been an ad slapped in my face ONCE. I've been playing this game for a week now, and there's been 0 times Ive felt the character draws are unfair. My only complaint with the game that keeps me from automatically giving 5 stars is that it's really jittery. I'd really appreciate a performance mode/quality setting, BUT that doesn't make it unplayable. Astounding game!!!
