GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is an immersive sci-fi RPG shooter game, where you recruit and command various maidens to form a beautiful anime girl squad that specializes in wielding guns and other unique sci-fi weapons. Command and collect girls that have unique combat specialties to create your ultimate team! Experience next-level shooting action with simple yet intuitive controls while enjoying dynamic battle effects.
Humanity lies in ruins.
The Rapture invasion came without warning. It was both ruthless and overwhelming.
The reason: unknown. No room for negotiations.
In what seemed like an instant, the earth was turned into a sea of fire. Countless humans were hunted down and slaughtered without mercy.
None of mankind's modern technology stood a chance against this colossal invasion.
There was nothing that could be done. The humans were laid to waste.
Those that managed to survive found one thing that gave them the smallest glimmer of hope: the humanoid weapons.
However, once developed, these new weapons were far from the miracle everyone needed. Instead of turning the tide, they only managed to make a minor dent.
It was a complete and utter defeat.
Humans lost their homeland to the Rapture and were forced to live deep underground.
Decades later, a group of girls awakens in the Ark, mankind's new home.
They are the result of the collective technological knowledge pooled together by all the humans driven underground.
The girls board an elevator to the surface. It has not been operated for decades.
Humanity prays.
May the girls be their swords.
May they become the blade that enacts revenge for humanity.
Born out of mankind's desperation, the girls head to the world above, carrying the hopes and dreams of the human race on their shoulders.
They are code-named Nikke, a name derived from the Greek Goddess of Victory, Nike.

Let me lead off with a huge complaint. The recruitment gacha in this game sucks. The feature character never has more than a 2% chance of being drawn and it doesn't get better no matter how many times you try. You can "buy" it after 200 trys. Costume gacha is pure money grab. You can ONLY get those spending real money (min $20 usually $60) All other aspects of this game are wonderful. The art, game play, stories, character interactions, everything else is great. I keep playing for those reasons.

I'm surprised how good this is. It's a mobile game. In app purchase prices are kind of high. But it's easy to roll along without spending a dime and build up over time. So much stuff to do, a surprisingly deep story. I love the action gameplay, the characters are endearing, and even the weird exploration puzzles of the Lost Sector provide variety. Always updating, always new events that reward generous upgrade materials and expand the lore or a character in ways big and small. Great game!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this game! It's art style is amazing, as well as it's story! BUT, there's this one issue I keep running into as of late (which gets fixed when I uninstall and reinstall it, but I REALLY don't wanna do that EVERY time I wanna play it): I keep getting a "System Error" message whenever I load up the game and try connecting to the/my server! Can SOMEONE please fix this issue? (I've also restarted my device along with reinstalling it, but I shouldn't have to every time I load it up)

Solid story, but the gameplay is just alright. They don't really explain any of the combat well and a lot of the bosses feel like a guess and check so if you're looking to "get good" you'll have to use a guide. A lot of content is just a stat check though so casuals with enough CP can plow through most things. Pretty generous on currency and rates, but scrolling around all the menus for dailies is cumbersome. Overall, the setting and writing are worth sticking around for.

The game itself is pretty good. The character models are fun and the characters are enjoyable. I just have a few gripes regarding the number of pulls you end up getting... there's just not enough free banner pulls, and the price to buy them is prohibitively expensive and not worth it given the odds of paying to get nothing. Would be nice if they added some ways to earn more free event banner pulls in game.

Fun at first but eventually you'll get stuck and will need to get copies of some of your characters in order to progress through the game. The leadeboards is also a silly showcase of who spends the most in your server. Each character has a unique story which is interesting. If you plan to play a game for years in order to progress through the story and log in daily to do daily chores then this is the game for you.
