Still very inaccurate when picking up voices. Sometimes I have to yell. Other times I have to put the phone up to my mouth in order for it to pick up the right words. Even then the voice assistant isn't accurate with what I'm saying (spoken clearly) versus what it's interpreting. It also doesn't always work well with Android auto and completely mistranslates what you're trying to say terribly. Like completely off the mark bad.

Only reason I picked OnePlus was because Samsung did the similar things with updates. Filling the phone space with installing bunch of rubbish or promoted apps. I hated not having control over my own device and not being able to uninstall them. Constant permission wars over terms of services, you can't use anything if you don't want their access to your information. Now here we are, installing update under the name of "fixing bugs" in One+, ending up with apps from Google, Meta, etc. Just stop

It doesn't work if your battery is too low There's no way to allow permission in low battery mode. it doesn't work went on charge. everything is turned on but it still doesn't work. The only way to get into the settings is to press the button on the side and then say "assistant settings". there's no other way to find them I've looked and ended up here. And I know the microphone on my phone works because I've dictated this entire review.

90% of the time, it never detects my voice. I don't want any app that doesn't work. I wanted to give -100 stars but that ain't possible so I give 1 star. A total garbage. I have one plus Nord and redmi note 9pro max as well. This doesn't work on either of them. I would have rooted my mobile and get rid of this garbage app but worried about warrenty. I don't mind itcollecting my information if this work properly since it makes several things a lot easier. But so far no-no.

Google assist would just randomly pop up for no reason. Noticed this was getting an update so went back into settings/apps and found it and disabled it. It is not required for Google Assistant to continue to work. Qualcomm Voice Assist is disabled and wouldn't ya know Google Assistant recognizes when I say "hey google" perfectly fine and seems to detect even faster. Let's see if the random pop ups now stop cause I got a feeling this here is the culprit.

This app needs to be removed from the store and marked suspicious. It randomly installed itself on my device and keeps popping up. I don't use my device for other than a few games texting and calling that an actual reputation unlike this fishy app. Disabled it still keeps popping up and it keeps coming back onto my phone there is no way to block this app from being downloaded because it's on the Play store 🤬
