Was able to use the app after the 08/12/25 update for a couple weeks. As of 08/25/25 I cannot view any content on the app, it is in just continuous loading. If I log out and try to log back in, it says my information is wrong. If I request a log in email, it says there is an error and can't send the email. I can access Reddit via the browser, but that's it. Using a Samsung Galaxy s10+.

6/24: They clearly have no intent on fixing this. 6/13: "We updated our app with bugs". 🤬 App no longer loads. Those of us working on streaks have lost them because the app won't open. Started immediately after the latest update. Was fine until then. And yes, using the mobile browser still forces the app open so completely useless right now. There is also no way to contact anyone from the app because the settings are under your profile and there is no profile picture to use to access it.

Honestly, I absolutely loathe the gesture system. You want to zoom into an image? To bad, it's going to pull up comments instead. Oh, you want to swipe to look at the next image? Too bad, you're going to get sent to a different post entirely. You want to disable it? Too bad, you can't opt out of it. Horrible design and it's the cherry on top of this worthless app.

This app has been screwing up for the past month on Android (Galaxy S10) I open it and it won't load. I tried clearing the cache, deleting the data, uninstalled and reinstalled it, restarted my phone. If I sign out it tells me when I try to sign back in 'Unable to Authenticate you.' I got it to work for about a week after I first encountered the issue before it started back up again. Can't believe this issue isn't fixed yet.

app recently updated. Got stuck in anonymous browsing and couldn't get back into the regular browsing. Uninstalled and lost my main account I've had for several years. App is not good even before this incident. After the recent update you can't see the bottom of the threads because of the invasive UI to "join the conversation". Oh well, not going back. I'd use at your own risk. Very likely lose your account. I found tons of examples of this the past few days but can't open Reddit wo app. Trash

Really glitchy. I am on Android on a really good phone, updated, Reddit is updated, all that good stuff. But I frequently can not make posts with pictures, share posts with pictures, make posts with multiple pictures, or comment on people's posts with pictures. It's hit and miss. Sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't. I've reported it with no response or help. Would be great otherwise.
