I have push notifications turned on. I also have whitelist with certain words that I want notifications for. Lately, it seems to be working perfectly, and I'm only notified for things I might actually want! No more spam! The app has helped me find a great many useful things for free. I have also listed things, and they have mysteriously disappeared from the end of my driveway before trash pick up. I love being able to repurpose and rehome items.

downloaded the app. first time that I opened it had a window that said finish setting up your account. so I tapped it. had me put in my debit card number says it would not charge me just wanted to verify me. but in actuality I was charged $34.79 from blufitt. definitely need better quality control on advertisers. and misleading advertising. I have to wait for the charge to go completely through before I can dispute it with my bank.

Pretty awesome lil app in this one. I've found myself about 3 free items that I just so happened to have had been in need of. And probably found at least 10 free items that I not only didn't need but items that I never realized how much it was that they were actually needed hahah. My girlfriend has brought back an ungodly amount of stuffs n things also ofc. Anyways, her and I both love the app and enjoy scrolling through it all. It reminds us of going to a yard sale together but better!

a lot of the stuff is not free, it diverts you to other sites where you have to pay for items, and it's not updated. There's stuff on there from 7 months ago. Whoever manages this site is doing a poor job at taking down old offers or having a system if it's still available. People advertise several times for the same product. Definitely needs a total overhaul of how the site is set up. Only keep items that ARE FOR FREE ALLOWED A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF WEEKS TO ADVERTISE. THEN DELETE THEIR OFFER.

As someone who used to do "trash picking" as a hobby (I hate that term, but in college neighborhoods it's amazing how many valuable items you can usurp!), I think this app is great! Every single one of the hundreds of items I listed on my 'white list' has gotten at least one hit. Everything from first aid kits, furniture for my apartment, crochet supplies, fully functional pianos, electronics, accessories, new clothing, kitchen supplies, beautiful artwork, books,....ANYTHING. all nearby!

I love this app, it'll be very handy in the future, my only gripe is that there should be a rule for individuals to add their addresses in. It's frustrating when a good item, a short distance away, becomes a goose chase. I also understand that this app is connected to multiple, but a message feature strictly for Freebie, would also make things handier, instead of jumping back and forth, and possibly losing out on a good item, or haul. It's still with it.
