• MULTIPLAYER: you can challenge a friend or a random opponent online - try to solve the code before him!

July 2024: improved the auto scrolling when submitting a new guess. Automatically going to the last played page when selecting a board to play.

What just happened? Most of the levels are just gone, play is laggy, colors are different... I want my game back! Downrating from 5 to 3. Okay, I like the fact that there's a new stage of play. The new colors aren't so bad. Still hate the way the balls move. Still want the old levels back. Moving up from 3 to 4. Oh, and I do like the "review solution" button. I've often wished I could do that. And the fact that you can't push the "finish" button without making changes. That's convenient.

It is the same gameplay from the Mastermind of my youth in the 70's! So far I've completed up to 6 pegs & multiple pegs with duplicate colors.... MAN! That's a workout! I've resisted the urge to take notes as I go to keep track of 'what goes where', preferring to have to look back at played rows to deduce patterns... it's a better memory workout that way. But my being one of the original ADHD 'Poster Children' ... THAT AIN'T EASY! (:-D

For the most part i really like this game and the different levels. It would be nice though to be able to track your best scores or something. The only thing i dont like is that you cant use a color more than once a line in EASY mode. Even though the solution wont have duplicate colors, its helpful to be able to double up as part of your solving strategy.

This is a great implementation of a classic game of logic; the best I've seen, with one exception, it needs an option to zoom out a bit. The starting rows scroll off the page much too soon. You can scroll up and down to see what you've done, but that's not the same as being able to see the whole board. I recognize the limits given a mobile app, but it's currently too limited. If a zoom setting too difficult to implement, perhaps a temporary toggle to a full board view is an option. 5¤ thn I thk

I've finally played through all the levels. Good, quiet thinking game. Simple, effective interface. Even though I've "finished" the game, I just paid for no ads version as reward for excellent program. I will start over and play through again. It's not like you can memorize 3 x 480 games. Highly recommended!

Fun game, reliable app, I enjoy playing Insane level which requires more layers of deduction. I like Multiplayer function, but I suspect that the "random player" is actually "the computer" because the opponent always inputs very random colors and never learns or wins. I play with a friend by typing in a code. We treat it as a cooperative game where we are racing the clock rather than competing against each other. Wordle (similar but w/ letters) reminded me of Mastermind, which brought me here :)
