This app hides a few pieces of the puzzle until there's only a few left then they magically appear. When you're putting a piece in place it will just shoot across the board. Then you have to look for it all over again. If you separate the pieces it will cover up the one's your looking for. These issues are very frustrating and annoying you waste a lot of time dealing with this kind of stuff. Jigsaw puzzles are challenging in a good way why make them difficult and irritating?

Panoply of gorgeous photos in numerous categories. Can make it more challenging by opting to be able to rotate pieces, as if in a real puzzle where pieces are on a table. Also can increase difficulty from 25 large pieces, easiest, to over 1,000, I think, or a number too large for a smart phone. Never tire of it. Prefer it to some that have artwork rather than photos.

None of the other jigsaw apps I tried allowed me to veg out and relax like this one does. I really love that you can use your own photos. I have screenshots from my from comics that I take specifically to turn into my own private puzzles! The options are great too - you can choose how many pieces and whether to rotate them, and what color you like for your background. If you struggle to see pieces clearly, changing the background can really help.

Update to below 6/25/22, the ads in this app are extremely annoying. I can't turn the sound off for them and they are so oversized, there is no way to shut the ad down without closing the app completely. Posted in 2017: This is a great app! I love the bright and colorful photos. Some of the pieces seem to jump and connect when I have not selected them. I also wish the puzzle could be enlarged when finished. And that it did not freeze and resize with the last 3 pieces. Otherwise, no complaints.

I very much enjoy how I can choose my own picture. I've explored different artists and art styles, illuminated manuscripts, architecture, stained glass, fabric designs and quilts from other cultures, and unusual landscapes. Also, two good things they did was (1) to stop the ads in 2022 for a game that seemed misogynistic, and (2) to investigate my complaint about notices that I had to update my game, which would actually would downloaded a different jigsaw game app.

I guess I forgot about the frame rate issue or no longer notice it. Anyway, still love the game. I love that we can add our own photos and theres a huge variety of piece sizes to choose from even though I stick with one size on my phone. Ads are so few and far between honestly its only when I minimize the game to do something quick and then come back to it that I get an ad, and even then it's only 3 or 5 seconds. THIS game is actually "free and fun, no wi-fi needed, no annoying ad."
