I've been using Rover for 6 years now. I had issues with the GPS 3 years ago and it got a little better. But now I'm constantly having to uninstall and reinstall because it won't let me add a photo. Then it will freeze. It is very inconvenient for someone who is trying to make the most out of their time during the day. I have to spend 5-10 extra mins at the end of each visit trying to get the app to work and that usually puts me behind schedule.

I'm still unable to send pictures and videos to clients through the app on my google pixe from one of the updatesl. This is very frustrating when trying to adhere to client requests for photos and updates. When I click the camera icon it goes to my gallery but none of my photos show up. This has been an issue for over a few months now and no updates to fix it.

Surprisingly not great. No way to filter or sort results by location, it was showing me results from 30 miles away on page 1, and results from 2 miles away on page 3. Search results don't include the city, just the distance from your zip code. It's just hard to navigate and the experience changes depending on what youre trying to do. Very confusing. They need to hire a UX designer!

My location is in the app, it gives me people interested in my job less than 10 miles from us, who then tell me that I'm out of their area or want me to pay them extra due to distance. Cost per hour for what I'm asking ends up to be $40-50 and then mileage seems like a lot. Something is wrong if the app is not computing distance correctly ... or the sitter should have to indicate what mileage is included in their cost.

Update: Rover has now restricted our profiles to only show 25 pictures. Why?! This does not allow us to show our full range of clients. I am pissed! App has FINALLY improved, for the most part. I would still like to see: a way to discount our recurring clients & a "meds administered" part of the checklist with food/potty breaks. The only issues the app currently faces, as I see it, is the fact that it's not accessible for the older folks & the bugs take too long to fix.

$50 hidden application fee I tried to sign up and spent hours as the app crashed and I had to redo it on my computer, but once I got to the end, they revealed a application review fee that was never stated prior to. also they made me sign up for boarding at my house and nothing else stating I could include other services after. I didn't even want to board I wanted to walk and sit.
